Stayed Jul 17, 2025From the outside the house looks pretty humble. The inside was surprisingly clean, interesting decor and very comfortable. It's great place to stay!We would definitely come back if our family returns to Stratford.Small issues: outside electrical plug didn't work, the thermostat was set to change the air conditioning overnight so we had to get up and restart it, and we couldn't find a sink plug for the downstairs bathroom sink.All pretty minor complaint. We really liked this house!

Stayed Jun 23, 2025Our group of seven was delighted by location and the house itself. It's rare to find a VRBO that has a fully outfitted kitchen, areas where the whole group can gather plus space for small groups to gather. And access to the outdoors. We rate it 10 out of five!Ottawa Bardolaters

Stayed Jun 16, 20252nd time we've stayed here. The house works extremely well for our family theater vacations in Stratford. Great location. We had a few minor issues with loose doorknobs, a burner that did not work and a remote that needed new batteries. The owner and rental agent were very communicative and I know they have updated some parts of the house from when we were last there in 2022. I assume the minor bumps we encountered will also be taken care of. If you want to be in a house and walk to almost all locations in Stratford this is a great choice.

Stayed Apr 22, 2025Happy House was ok. Needs alot of upgrades to the furniture as we didn’t find it comfortable. The windows have never been cleaned so looking out the backyard was not a clear picture. We put a security deposit down and it’s been two weeks almost and has not been reimbursed. Nothing was damaged so not sure why it’s taking so long to get reimbursed. For this reason I would never book again.
