Private entrance, two bedroom luxury, modern ground floor apartment situated adjacent to the original Fort Archway of the converted Brothers Wing of the old Benedictine Monastery.

The apartment is approached through the Fort Archway. It is a bespoke, modern design, enclosed in the remaining bastion walls of the original 1730 fort. It benefits from direct access to the Brothers Wing courtyard and immediate proximity to parking. With a private entrance and ground floor location, it makesfor a safe and convenient location for families or low mobility guests.

The property has views on to the attractive courtyard and also through the bastion walls towards the recreational Abbey lawns and a short distance to the nearby Boathouse Restaurant and the spectacular views of Loch Ness.

The long 'L' shaped hallway has wall picture prints of the original Fort Augustus design. There is a spacious open plan lounge with oak flooring and an additional alcove housing a classic stone fireplace. There is dining for 6 on the teak dining table and both king size bedrooms are spacious with an en-suite as well as a family bathroom.

There is access to all facilities at The Highland Club including the swimming pool/sauna/steam room, tennis court, gym, BBQ area, Giant Chess, Table Tennis, Croquet, and Club Lounge with WiFi and a full size snooker table.

    The nicely appointed two bedrooms two bathrooms with kitchen and living room was perfect for two couples. The apartment was well equipped including washer/dryer and the owner made sure we had tea coffee and milk available. The Highland Club grounds and swimming pool were wonderful and we had full access. We also enjoyed the nearby boathouse restaurant and easy walks into town. We enjoyed our stay!

    Great property in a great location with Loch Ness as your front yard view. The grounds are also well kept and the history of the property is awesome. The apartment was well maintained and comfortable (other than the mattress in the Master). It’s important to note that you must have reservations for the pool and the gym (which isn’t open early morning). We were not pleasantly surprised to find this out once we were there.

    Had a fantastic 4 day stay here at the end of April. The apartment was great and ideal for two couples, also with adjacent parking. What really made it extra special was the communication prior to arrival and during check-in with Katy - she was so helpful and provided lots of information on where to shop, eat etc. would have no hesitation in recommending to others and hope that we will be back to stay next year.

    The apartment was very beautiful and very clean. The location of the property was perfect- close to shopping, restaurants, and all other amenities. The area was absolutely stunning. We cannot wait to go back!

    only issue was second bedroom - the kids were in a king - my fault as stated it - but sadly boy and girl didnt want to sleep in same bed - for future clients also no tennis or badminton equipment in the house . thanks Jamie
