The Ellington Court Apartment is a fantastic, spacious two bedroom apartment (each with their own ensuites) on the ground floor of one of Torquay's grand Victorian Villas. It sits in the St Luke's area of Torquay which means it is wonderfully central yet extremely peaceful. The property has a blue plaque dedicated to a former resident of the property war hero Philip Leslie Johns who conducted operations behind enemy lines in The Netherlands and Belgium in World War 2.

Today, EllingtonCourt is a very well maintained property and the apartment is located on the ground floor with its parking space immediately outside. This means it is wonderfully easy for loading and unloading luggage etc. The apartment is also on one level and has tiled flooring throughout which means that families or guests with some restricted mobility might find it suitable.

The apartment features a modern, well equipped kitchen with all the appliances you would expect from a top quality holiday rental. Immediately next to the kitchen is the dining area with a large table and six chairs. For guests who may have to work while their away this can also double up as a useful work space. The dining room leads to the living room area which is flooded with light from its dual aspect windows. Here guests will be able to really spread out and relax as there are two sofas plus an arm chair. There is a large SMART TV so that guests will be able to access normal TV plus any streaming services they might have accounts with.

The apartment has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a wonderful luxury King Sixed Bed (UK size 5 foot width). There is plenty of storage space, a TV plus an ensuite with shower, wash basin and toilet. The second bedroom has a double bed (UK size 4ft 6inches width). It too features plenty of storage, a TV and an ensuite with shower, basin and toilet.

For the convenience of guests there is also a cloakroom with basin and toilet.

We are delighted to accept well behaved dogs into the apartment. There is a maximum of one per visit. Dogs must not be left unattended and we ask for paws on floors during their stay. Additional charges do apply and guests are fully responsible for any damage done by their pet.

Outside at the rear of the building, there is an area of communal lawn from which there are some stunning views of the Bay. It is requested that children should not be left unsupervised in this area.

The car parking space is accessed by electric gates which means the parking is secure.

    As with other properties the apartment was immaculate. Decorated for Christmas which was nice. Everything you need including for our dog which was really helpful as we forgot his blanket. Would highly recommend to others

    We were all surprised and delighted when we arrived at the apartments. Everything about the property was beautifully presented and organised. Plenty of room for two couples and our dog who was also well catered for. The large garden is situated close enough for his regular visits making the apartment amongst the most dog friendly we’ve stayed in. Although most of our trips involved the car, we were all able to make several walks to the front, even me with my walking stick! Thanks for everything Adam.

    Lovely place to stay with everything we needed. The location was good as well, the walk back up the hill from the seafront is a bit of a walk but is not that bad either and taxis up and down are not that badly priced. Would definitely stop again.

    Super well appointed kitchen with all utensils coffee sugar and milk provided. Even has a pizza cutter! Extremely modern and clean with serve half way through our 10 day stay. Many outings to do and great restaurants down Abbey Road to the harbour. One view of the harbour in the living room and a nice grassy bit it weather is nice. Great stay all round. Highly recommend with 2 bedrooms with nice ensuite showers.
