The Elizabeth Suite B2

This property was so lovely! Perfect for a long weekend stay and fulfilled my family’s purposes to be near the hospital. I felt safe in the area and the parking is super convenient. Marc was so quick to respond and brought us extra towels, blankets, and pillows immediately. The apartment is comfortable and warm and had everything we needed. The pull out couch is also fairly comfortable according to my father. Overall great stay and wonderful hosts!

It was within walking distance of the appointment I had in Hartford and was very clean, but the neighborhood was very noisy.

Pros: -Close to downtown, although the neighborhood did not feel the safest at night. -Free parking onsite. -Spacious. -Friendly housekeeping staff. Cons: -No check-in instructions ahead of time. When I arrived, I called the number listed in the booking and spoke to Jaime. It took some time to find my booking information, which seemed odd, but she helped me get checked in. -The kitchen lacked essential cooking equipment. I was staying for over a week, so this was really disappointing. Jaime agreed they would reimburse me for buying a pot (there were none) for the unit to use. I have repeatedly asked and have not yet been reimbursed for this. -There is only one usable outlet in the kitchen. -Two burners on the stove would not light, no lighter in the unit. -There is a gas stove with no ventilation. -The claw foot tub is old, and the paint is cracking (hence why there are no photos of it in the listing). The shower curtains are oddly placed so no matter how careful I was, water got on the floor when showering. -The toilet seat was not secure and was extremely close to the vanity, making it an uncomfortable experience. -The bottom third of the mattress on the bed sags dramatically. -The WiFi is spotty. I ended up using my phone's hotspot multiple times. -The back door has a significant gap between the door and the frame making it feel questionably secure. Some of these complaints may seem insignificant, but added up for over a week they amount to an unenjoyable stay.

OK location. Probably not for small children. Interior of apartment was nice but some of the furniture was pretty dated.

Great place near the state capital. Excellent option for an extended stay if work or activities bring you to this area of central Hartford. Mark, the property manager, is onsite and very friendly and accommodating. We extended our stay.
