The Cozy lookout sits on 5 acres at the top of Thompson Ridge with a view for miles. We are just a short 5 minute drive to Rock House and 20 minutes from both Old Mans Cave and Ash Cave. Inside we have a cozy queen size bed and pullout full size sofa sleeper, full kitchen with cooktop, bathroom/shower and coffee. The middle floor is also equipped with a Hot Tub and movie room. Stayed Jan 23, 2026Due to the winter storm that hit the area, we did not actually get to stay at the cabin. Justin, the host, reached out prior to the storm to express his concerns about possible power outages and road conditions. He was very understanding and helpful in canceling our reservation and refunding our money. Our safety was his first concern and not just making money. Although we did not get to stay that weekend, i will definitely be booking the cabin again in the future.

Stayed Jan 9, 2026House was good for what we we're looking for. It is definitely pretty small, and the layout isn't ideal - with needing to walk outside on the stairs to enter and leave the hot tub, but overall was a pleasant stay.

Stayed Jun 20, 2025My husband and I went for our anniversary. It was a great little place that was close to other areas so we were able to get to places easily! We went to Rock House for a hike and it was a great! We recommend Mams Rusted Skillet and Ridge Inn restaurant in Laurelville for food!!
