Clean, clear expectations, helpful host

We stayed for a weekend of wrestling at the Hy-Vee Hall. Easy to walk to the event. This property was super clean, cozy and the owners are super responsive! Thank you for a clean comfortable place to come home after all day in bleachers :)

We had a wonderful stay. The place was convenient and had everything we needed. Really liked the layout and proximity to the parking lot etc. Comfortable beds, clean and modern. Fun decor, beautiful TV with all the good channels and great for entertaining ourselves in between meetings this weekend. LOVED the deck! The view of Des Moines was perfect! Thank you so much!

The apartment was very modern and beautifully decorated. We did have some issues with vheck in and getting the correct code but it was quickly resolved. Owner is very responsive and helpful. Would definitely stay here again as the beds were super cozy and the views were spectacular!

We liked the location of the VRBO. It was walking distance to a lot of bars and restaurants. The hosts were great at communicating and responded quickly if we had a question. The place did have a bit of a cleaning solution smell the whole time we were there, like pine sol. Plus the beds, couch, chairs were not very comfotable. We were excited to come home to our own beds.

The apartment was very clean and a great East Village location. Check in and out was very easy as the host sent very clear instructions prior to our arrival. Will definitely book again when we visit Des Moines.

Nice spot to walk all around the area. Easy and ample parking. Quiet stay with a beautiful view. Bed was comfy. Watch the video for accessing the unit, it will save you time and confusion.

Great location to get to the Iowa State Fair for a concert. Also the East Village is charming, enjoyed breakfast there the next morning.

Stayed here for a work trip to Des Moines and had no problems

A fine place for a couple. We had to work to find the new wifi set up but host was helpful in that mix up on our part, the signs still referenced the older set up. Neighborhood was nice and easy to find restaurants nearby. Walkable. We personally would like more comfortable living room seats to lounge around but I understand the look of the decor is a part of the charm. We will likely not be back to the area but would stay again if it was available.

Great communication on check-in process and the location amenities were top notch. Great property & a MUST STAY for the Des Moines East Village location.

Our family of four (mom, daughter, grandma, grandpa) had a wonderful 4-night stay at the Cartier apartment. The location was just right us: close to the river, the capitol building, and downtown. Having a parking space included was fantastic. Check-in was easy and communication with hosts was excellent. We appreciated having the balcony for having our morning coffee and watching fireworks on the 4th and the sunsets each evening. We recommend!v

The Cartier is within walking distance to the farmers’ market, restaurants, fun shops, & nightlife in downtown Des Moines. It is very clean and well furnished inside. There are beautiful views from the outdoor deck.

The apartment is easy to check in and out and very clean. Quiet and cozy. Great location in downtown Des Moines. Easy walking distance to many key venues and to the beautiful State Capitol. Hosts are good with communication. Would stay here again.

Awesome time, cool location, close to everything

The unit is very clean. The beds were comfortable and they had several pillow options. The kitchen and bathrooms had all essentials. The property is walkable to several bars, restaurants, Wells Fargo Arena and the State Capitol. The hosts checked on us after arriving and were very accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

The unit was very clean and classy. I love having a washer/dryer. Bathrooms were nice. Loved the close proximity to good places to eat and also the easy and free parking! We parked right outside the door and that was a blessing because it was so cold outside!!

Great location, great deck & set-up. 2 baths a plus. Decor & glam cute & fun (guys meh about) gals loved the glitz. Furniture too, especially chairs, cute yet not conducive to comfort of 6' plus 200 lb men. Parking was issue with 2 out of state cars & 1 parking pass. Street parking metered & garage expensive on too of daily rate. Seems you could foot for 2 passes even if dont use for every guest. We did 1 night street & worked out a deal with tow truck people for 2nd night. Obliged the No shoes policy but not comfortably & rolled up the fur rugs so wouldnt get walked on! Had a great time with family & that was our goal. Oh, i left a note to clean exhaust fan vents in bathrooms - they were in great need. Everything else tip top.

My adult son and I had an awesome time at this rental. It was more than enough space for us, beautifully decorated and thoughtfully appointed. In a great location walking distance to a lot of cool spots. The host was super responsive as well. You won’t regret booking this place!

My wife and I had a blast in Des Moines!! Here for a wedding. Stayed 5 days. The property is a perfect location!! We were able to walk almost everywhere! 8,000 steps each day. The Capital, the Botanical Gardens, Fresko, Noce, shops and so much more!! All walking distance. The place is as advertised! Great vibe! Fun place to relax and hang.We’ll be back for sure! We live in the valley of the sun, Phoenix, and Des Moines had plenty to do that was amazing! P.S. The owners of the property were great! Provided all information in a timely manner and checked in to make sure all was going well.Cheers to them as well!

This lovely condo had everything! And the location was perfect for our wedding. Very close to Wells Fargo Arena, Botanical Gardens and downtown. Lots of restaurants and parks, bike paths and a beautiful deck with the Des Moines skyline! I’d come back in a heartbeat! Thank you!

A couple of girlfriends stayed here with me for a conference. It was super convenient to the convention center and a great alternative to hotel rooms. The condo was clean and well appointed. Very comfortable for our stay.

Good location in East Village. Check in process was made difficult because the apartment numbers did not match listing as they had been changed. Looked for correct number for about 30 minutes before calling.
