The Carriage House Studio at Marion Hall Mansion

This was the perfect stop for us for the holidays while we visited family that lived nearby. Its pet friendly with lots of room for the dog to run around. Space was very roomy, would definitely stay again!

Great location close to all things in downtown Cincinnati, great property, and kitchen was stocked with the basics you’d need. Overall wonderful experience.

The rustic decor and cleanliness was beautiful. Most impressive is the lovely neighborhood that surrounded the house. It was definitely aesthetically pleasing.

Beautiful property with a unique carriage house apartment, nicely decorated and quite well-equipped. The space was large, comfortable and very accommodating for our dog. Our brief stay here was a real pleasure and offered much-needed relief on our tedious trip across country.

This is by far the best accommodations that we've had! Love the history of the place. Love the way it's being restored. Love the idea of a gated fenced-in area. Almost a park-like setting. The amenities were great. The only thought that we had is switch to a better bed and maybe a king size bed.

Everything was absolutely wonderful. Extremely cute. Ability to get anywhere very fast. The owners were always on top of everything. Can’t say enough if I’m ever in Cincinnati again I will definitely be looking them up.

The apartment was lovely. Dogs were super friendly. Hosts were very good at communicating and quick to answer any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

We booked the studio for a writers retreat. The ambiance and overall eclectic vibe was perfect for the pair of us. The kitchenette was well appointed, but to be fair the Keurig was the only appliance we used. Communication was thorough and appreciated, but we had no concerns or issues that warranted anything further. Again, all very much appreciated. The highlight of the location was the joy of being in a dog friendly environment and getting to interact with each of the pups! We will return and have already started making plans for the next retreat.

Very unexpected quiet retreat; just right for our stay and so charming. Only complaint we had was we weren’t there long enough to meet any of the doggy hosts we read about :). We will look for this place next time we travel to the area!

Perfect place to enjoy a mansion adjacent vibe in an eclectic studio apartment. Longing to get away from the hotel sameness and enjoy an artsy comfort this is the place. Plus beautiful grounds and don’t forget the chickens.

Incredibly unique property. Fantastic vibes, awesome location for spots you want to go into town or stay out and just enjoy the property. Communication was unmatched, even swapped the coffee maker that wasn’t working first thing in the morning when I hadn’t fully woken so I could have a fresh cup of coffee. Just lovely.

What a wonderful room and setting you have. It's more like a large apartment. The bed was super comfortable. It was a terrific location for us, just minutes away from our son and daughter-in-law. Definitely keeping Carriage house on our list of places to stay in the future when we come back to visit our kiddos again.

This was a beautiful property, there was a lot of yard which was good. The bed and couch were so comfortable, and the kitchen was super clean. Perfect for a girls weekend, or any stay. The property manager was super nice and checked each day!

My daughter and I stayed for two nights during spring break. The unit was so unique, much better than a hotel! The owners were very responsive to communication. Highly recommend!

Loved our stay at the Carriage House. Perfect space for a couple with all the nice little touches. Communication was super easy with the owner. This is a shared space, as the description says…so if hearing the upstairs residents on occasion could bother you, maybe rethink this one. Otherwise it’s great! Planning on coming back.

While looking for a place to stay for an overnight Valentine's Day getaway, I came across this wonderful property. Just a short drive from our favorite downtown restaurant, this charming carriage house made for the perfect retreat for the evening. The historic charm of the studio suite adds a touch of class that is memorable. Matt, our host, was wonderful, promptly responding to any questions I had regarding our stay. We will definitely be returning!

A must stay when visiting Cincinnati and Xavier college. Location is within minutes of downtown. Owners are 5 star guests. The grounds of the estate are beautiful with well marked parking and excellent communication by the owners. Will stay again when visiting Cincy!!

This was my first Vrbo rental and hope it did spoil it for others.The place was amazing, the history of it was so very cool. The place had everything you would need and the communication with Matt what top notch. Bed was great. The perfect place to take a break and get my head straight.I would highly recommend this host and rental. Would give it 10 stars if the site would let me

This was our first time using a service like Vrbo, and probably had more questions than most guests. At just under a thousand square feet, the place was plenty big and comfortable enough for us (myself & 2 kids). I assumed that, at that size, that we would have the entire Carriage house, but it was *much* more impressive than that. While there were no ‘shared’ spaces as part of our rental, I did not anticipate being under a second floor unit. It was not overly loud by any means, but I’ve never lived anywhere that had a shared wall/ceiling/floor. Had I known that, I likely would have ruled the place out, and that would have been a mistake. Even with the shared ceiling/floor, it was great. I’m sure we used the kitchen more than most, having groceries in the fridge, using the toaster oven to bake cinnamon rolls in the morning(s) and dinner as needed. The kitchen(-ette) is not fully equipped for everything you might possibly need for a group of 4, but was perfect for us.The foldout couch was surprisingly very comfortable. Advertised as pet-friendly, we did not see any evidence of previous pets having stayed there, which was nice. It would be nice if the lights were wired differently to allow for a little better darkness in the sleeping area, while having a single light on in the kitchen, but I’m probably reaching at this point. It was great.

My husband, 2 dogs, and I loved our quick jaunt in Cincinnati! The accomodations at the Carriage House at Marian Hall were wonderful, we only wish we had more time to spend here! The location was central to everything we wanted to do in Cincy, and provided a safe and comfortable stay for my family! We look forward to following along on social media how Marian Hall!

It's an old carriage house, so despite three heaters, it was cold and drafty. Plenty of warm blankets were provided and the heat lamps in the bathroom helped a lot. Shower was hot, but tiny. Could use a deep cleaning, as there was a lot of thick dust and cobwebI would recommend, as well as return!!! s, but overall, it was a neat place!

We booked this charming studio for the weekend while in Cincinnati for a concert. The property is beautiful and the location was great! We were back after our sold out show at Heritage Bank in literally 10 minutes! The hosts had great communication and there was everything we could have needed. I can’t imagine staying in a generic hotel when you could stay here. I will definitely book again if coming to Cincinnati!

Comfortable, quiet, cozy space. Perfect for our weekend visit to the zoo and aquarium. Super-comfortable bed. Beautiful grounds and main home. Chester the (outside) cat and the roaming band of hens added to the homey charm.

Spacious studio apartment in nicely modernized older building. Well-furnished in a clean, comfortable seating area. Neighborhood was very quiet and safe, and convenient to much of Cincinnati. When we return to Cincinnati, we will definitely consider returning to this apartment.

My sister and I came for our great-nephew's wedding. 10 days before our trip my email was hacked and I couldn't get into my email at all. Then 2 days before our trip, I went through Hurricane Milton in Fl. I was able to contact Matt to explain about my email problem, and he agreed to send the check-in info to my cell phone. My sister was able to get there on time, but due to an airport closure on my side, I was delayed by a day. We had a lovely time at the wedding, and was able to visit a museum downtown on Sunday and go to the Cinci museum in the old train station (Beautiful and very cool place). The wedding was in DT Cinci, and your location was great and easy to get back and forth to the wedding activities. My only suggestion would be to put a 'No Parking' sign on the garage door that was next to our rental, since we mistakenly parked in front of it, not allowing the person who lived there to be able to get out. We were sooo sorry that happened.

Beautiful premises, we stayed in the carriage house, former horse stables. Romantic setup, I liked particularly the surrounding park/garden and the chicken visiting at lunch! The acoustic insulation is quite weak, we heard every step and conversation of the neighbors above.

Was perfect for our quick one night anniversary adventure. Explored Cincinnati and then came back to such a quiet, peaceful, beautiful space. Thank you for a great stay!

The carriage house and 1897 historic Marion Hall Mansion pay a unique tribute to Cincinnati's turn of the century history. We enjoyed our stay very much. The WiFi was perfect for working from our laptops during the day and our pups enjoyed staying with us. The grounds are beautiful. We stayed here because we are selling our home in Cincinnati and needed a local getaway location so that we were not under pressure to have our home clean and show ready the first week of listing.

We came for a quiet acoustic music retreat and had a delightful stay. Our apartment was charming and the outdoor terrace was wonderful. The roaming chickens were an unexpected delight!

This home was so comfortable to stay and very easy to find!! I was so grateful to be able to bring my pup with no issues!!! The place was clean and equipped with just enough stuff for a weekend getaway!

Stayed in Cincy to kick off our recent retirement by going to a Cubs/Reds game. We enjoyed every thing about this VRBO from the aesthetics of the property to the location to ease of check in and owner correspondence to comfort! All the boxes checked! Would gladly return when in the area.
