The Carriage House Loft at Marion Hall Mansion

My son and I were in Cincinnati looking at a couple of colleges and sort of picked a few hotel rooms based on nothing more than price and location. For our Xavier visit we saw this room was priced right and it was a unique looking space that was more than just a room with a couple of beds in it so I booked it. Booking was easy and the owners of the property were very attentive. They sent instructions on how to check in and offered recs for food and whatever to help our stay be the best it could be. They shared their personal cell numbers so I never felt I couldn’t reach out. We actually did take them up on their burger rec (Gordo’s) and it was quite good. Otherwise, the space was large and very much enough for my boy and me. There is a bed that would be fine for a couple to sleep in and a pull out couch bed that could sleep two as well. The entire property is fenced in so no worries about car break ins, etc. There are people living upstairs and they are very nice. As noted in the ad, there are dogs on the property, so be mindful of that as at least one of them will want you to love on him or her and you need to be ready for that. It took us just a couple of minutes to get to Xavier and was perfect for what we needed on this leg of our weeklong trip. Definitely a unique place to stay if you’re in Cincy looking for a safe place near fun things to do.

The property is gorgeous and the carriage house we stayed in was a delight! The kitchen was stocked and even offered spices and oils. The bathroom was stocked as well with any necessity that you may have forgotten to pack. The grounds are gorgeous with a beautiful outdoor seating area and a precious chicken house. The shade gardens are lovely and the history of the mansion is worth a read! Look forward to staying there again when I’m in Cincinnati.

Easy check-in, spacious room with a huge kitchen and countertop, and located on beautiful grounds in a great neighborhood! Easy to get to from the interstate 71.

Very nice property in a quiet and interesting historic neighborhood. Easy access to the sights of Cincinnati. Very pet friendly and great space for dogs to get out in the yard or go for a walk.Highly recommend.

Fantastic place to stay!

We enjoyed staying here. Safe, clean, and beautiful. The hosts were very quick to help us when we accidentally tripped a breaker while using a couple radiators. I would absolutely stay here again.

Well appointed carriage house studio apt.

The apartment is an open floor plan with plenty of space and a fully supplied kitchen. Every area is well lit, including the bathroom. The bed is quite comfortable with additional pillows and blankets in the dresser. The decor is a mix of contemporary, rustic and eclectic. Check in was no problem and there are no check out responsibilities other than returning the key to the box on the outside door! It is very close to Xavier University. The hosts are very communicative. I have no reservations in recommending this VRBO.

We so enjoyed our stay at Marion Hall Mansion during our time in Cincinnati. We cuouldnt have found a more comfortable space or perfect location. This space was lovely, hosts were wonderful host, easy to get around the city, friendly pups, and more. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Spacious, meticulously clean, fresh, and well stocked. Beautifully styled and comfortable too. Matt was incredibly helpful, responsive, and friendly. We were so happy to have found this darling and unique retreat away from campus during a recent college visit. Bonus points for chickens on site and pet friendly vibes!!

The carriage house was a perfect place for us to stay while visiting our daughter at UC! The location was great, the site was beautiful and communication was excellent. It was also super dog-friendly, which we greatly appreciated.

Great stay! The Carriage House Loft was perfect for us. Plenty of room, easy in / out and made it convenient to take care of our dog who was along on the trip. The grounds are beautiful and neighborhood very nice. Good for walks.

Very unique and cool space. Very large apartment for only 2 people but doesn't feel too big.

We loved the carriage house near Xavier University. We had plenty of space plus the bed and bath were both amply stocked. What we loved most was the location as we were headed downtown one night and Riverbend the next. Typical neighborhood near a university. Older homes of all kinds dot the area.

My son and I were in town for a concert in Cincinnati and there is so much to love about the carriage house loft! The gardens are beautiful and the beds are super comfortable! It’s such a hidden gem!

Pictures don’t do it justice, adorable and so many books super clean love the way it’s decorated and a historical neighborhood with a huge houses. The property is beautiful. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend to anyone we were only 15 minutes away from everything we wanted to do. We went to hard rock casino and we went to Montgomery Inn restaurant. Had a wonderful time.!!! A beautiful place! Bed was super comfortable also! Had everything we needed tons of towels, wonderful plates everything was stocked well dishes, and everything you needed.

It was a fun treat to get to stay in a unique historic home. Matt and Heather were terrific hosts and very helpful in acclimating us to the area.

Super pretty property. Was a little chilly but thats to be expected with historical buildings. Google gets a little confused in the neighborhood so pay attention!

The place was clean, well equipped for cooking, and in a great location! It was easy to get anywhere in the greater Cincinnati area and a safe neighborhood. We had an issue with the smoke alarm while cooking, and Matt came to take care of it quickly. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a fabulous stay at the property! This was our annual “hideaway” from responsibility trip. The space was beautiful and clean and had all the amenities. We will consider using this space again next year. Thanks for hosting us!

This is a wonderful place to stay. It is in a classic neighborhood full of late 19th and early 20th Century estates. The rental is quiet and secluded within a large landscaped property behind the main house. The carriage house rental needs a little attention to make it stellar. none-the-less we recommend the Carriage House

The grounds were beautiful. The place was super homie and comfortable. Matt was super helpful and communication was great. The neighborhood was quiet and it was a perfect stay for us while we were getting testing done at the childrens hospital.We will be booking again!

The carriage house was an interesting and super comfortable place to stay with our two dogs. The bed is especially comfy- we have been in dog-friendly Air B&B’s for the past 6 weeks, so I say this with lots of comparison sleeps! The neighborhood is interesting and the grounds are beautiful- we felt lucky to be guests there!
