The Cabin, Porepunkah

A great little cabin for a 5 night stay. Awesome backyard for our dog. Clean and comfortable with plenty of household staples. The only thing I would suggest upgrading is the boardgames, and it would be nice to have some colouring pencils and colouring books and some kids books. Overall a very comfortable stay.

Reviewer Comments: We had such a good time, all up there were six of us and The Cabin had everything we needed and was a great layout for what we were after. Walked to Punkah Pub on the first night, and made our way into Bright everyday sometimes twice a day it was so close. The only thing that would have been good to have was a full length mirror in one of the rooms, but apart from that absolutely no complaints!

Lots of space in the yard for a dog (we didn't end up bringing ours but I am sure he would have loved it). The location is great, walking distance to the river and the town. Plus a very easy 6km bike ride to Bright, bringing bikes is a must. We experienced very warm weather during our stay so spent lots of time outdoors and by the river. I would recommend and happily stay again.

Tried the local Punk pub and cafe which were both great. The house location is right next to the main road so a bit of traffic noise. We arrived Friday night with provisions to make dinner. There was a good range of pots and pans etc but no basic cooking essentials which was a pity, Salt and pepper only. No oil or other basics. Some teabags but only 2 coffee sachets for a group of 6. So make sure to byo everything! Would be a nice addition for the owners to provide a few more cooking essentials and some coffee!
