Stayed Sep 26, 2025I left after I saw the property, as a solo female traveler I did not feel safe there the front door is right by the “bed” which is a very small uncomfortable futon, I didn’t feel like the locks were secure to the front door, the bathroom was tiny you can barely even get in there, the comforter and sheets were worn and the whole place has a weird smell. It was awful I will be very careful about where I stay from now on after this experience.

Stayed Jan 4, 2025While the owner could not have been nicer, VRBO dropped the ball. We did not get check in information, though the host provided it directly on hour after check-in time.The host needs to check in with the cleaners and visit the property. I say this as a landlord. We had one washcloth for two guests, no coffee or tea service, no tissues, no dish rag. The place looks a little run down and needs a refresh. Doors were broken, bathroom racks about to fall off the wall, and one soap dispenser was broken.I would recommend the property if these matters were addressed for a longer-term stay because of the location and excellent kitchen. We will stay elsewhere in Winchester next time, as the price is high for what you get.
