    The property is just as advertised. It was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The manager was very quick to respond in a professional manner. The location was very central. There are lots of hills to enjoy while walking the neighbourhood. The only negative that we had was the ceiling height of the hallway to the bathroom. It was very low. Perhaps this is a common thing to expect with a very old character home. We loved our stay.

    The suite was clean and the response to the entry lock not working was very efficient.Location wise, it was very close to the harbour, restaurants and shops. However, we encountered many unhoused people near the unit and were constantly asked for money. On one morning there was an individual asleep on the sidewalk right across the street. I realize the owner has little control over this but if you are uneasy about the downside of city living while on vacation this may not be the place for youThe unit itself is not very comfortable. There is a large island in kitchen area which can accommodate any meal. They also have, inexplicably, a table and two uncomfortable chairs, instead of perhaps a small two seater sofa or reading chairs. There is one small chair in the bedroom which, sadly is also very uncomfortable….so low to ground it is difficult to get up and down from. Finally, in my opinion the mattress needs to be changed as it is so soft (perhaps overused) that it collapses into the middle. I think with these changes it would be a pretty good place to stay

    We loved our stay at this property. It combines rustic, old St. John’s vibe with modern amenities and ease of access to downtown without being right in the thick of it. Parking was a bonus!

    Beautiful clean space. Perfect location, walking distance to shops, bars, and restaurants. As well as Quidi Vidi and Signal Hill. I look forward to staying here again!
