The Ashmont Apartment - Close to Subway & Downtown Boston

Beautiful clean apt in a lovely house. Great communication with host Eddie. Able to store our luggage early. Near transit. We would highly recommend this place for a visit to Boston

The property is just as it is pictured. Very responsive host. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was great. Outdoor space is cute. The only issue was you could hear the TV from upstairs and then walking but other than that, I would highly recommend staying here. We had a great time.

Lovely full apartment with a great location. Our host was highly responsive, the property was clean, quiet, and perfectly well appointed. This is a perfect location to catch the T and explore all of Boston from.

Super clean and cute place. Only problems had was with other guests upstairs, extremely loud most of time. Driving to most places like wharf and downtown usually took 30 min. Host Eddie was super helpful and nice.

The apartment was fantastic. Very clean and cute. Great outdoor space. The neighborhood is charming and we walked around quite a bit. Parking on the street was also easy.

The Ashmont offered the space we needed for a brief visit to Boston (scheduled during Patriots Day weekend and the upcoming Boston Marathon). We appreciate having space available for members of our family to work on college work or check/respond to emails. The kitchen has everything you will need and the coffee/tea option was wonderful. The bedrooms have their own bathrooms.

Our host was greatly communicative and offered recommendations. The stay was completely homey for our conference we attended over a weeks plus some time.

The home was beautiful and had all the basic necessities along with nice little touches to make it feel like a home away from home. Eddie was super communicative and helpful with any questions or concerns. We would love to stay again!

Beautiful home with a wonderful patio to hang out on. Cool rooms, soft linins and a wonderful kitchen made this feel like a home away from home. Would definitely stay here again

The space was exactly as described. Clean, comfortabe beds and bedding and the kitchen was well appointed.

The house was perfect for our stay in Boston.

Eddie is an EXCELLENT host. He was super responsive and helpful. The place was very clean and the decor was great. Subway is an easy 10 minute walk from house and we could go pretty much anywhere in the city. The only downside for us was not enough tall chairs for 4 adults to enjoy eating together, too few towels and washcloths, and the washer advertised in the description was only available to long term guests. Otherwise it was a great place to stay.

Refrigerator ice maker and filters need attention.

Excellent all round

Very nice and clean flat in a lovely renovated victorian house. Interior and exterior exactly as described in VRBO. Easy checkin and - out procedure. Very friendly and uncomplicated host. Tube-station not far. Streetparking without problems possible. For next trip to Boston everytime again!!!

Nice clean comfortable feel

This was a lovely apartment with great amenities and well equipped kitchen. It was sparkling clean with comfortable beds. Just an FYI, it was farther from downtown than I expected; a 20-25 Uber/Lyft or 25-30 minute train ride, and there is not much within walking distance. Knowing that, it was a nice apartment with good outdoor patio

Great property!! Easy to access and find . Plenty of room , wish the weather held up more to use the outside area. Beautiful house!!!

This was a lovely Victorian home and it is evident that the owners take a lot of pride in maintaining it and providing for their guests. The beds were comfortable and the shower lovely. There were plenty of kitchen amenities for cooking, although we did not use them. The downsides were a couple. As others mention, there is not a lot of sound insulation. One night we had a family above us and you could hear very clearly the sound of little feet running overhead. You also can clearly hear road noise from the two nearest streets. Fortunately, both of these noises settled down by 10:00 so we didn't have any issues getting sleep. The house is on a very nice street, but, again as others have said, a block or two over the neighborhood is a little sketchier than we would have liked. But we had no issues whatsoever.The unit more than adequately served our purpose, which was to attend our daughter's graduation and move her stuff out of her apartment. Overall, it was roomy enough for the two of us and very clean.

Nice property and great communication from host.

The property was great, close to family and friends. My only complaint was we were unable to figure out how to change the thermostat to cool the house down…user error? Maybe.

Hosts are very responsive & accommodating! Our group had a couple concerns regarding our luggage & the hosts made sure we had everything figured out. The property is very beautifully maintained & is within a 10 minute walk of the subway. If public transport isn’t for you, there are plenty of Uber/Lyfts in the area. I would stay here again when visiting Boston!

Very nice property and very clean. Nicely decorated and updated. Would have appreciated a standard (regular) coffee maker and some instructions on how to operate the nespresso. We also thought there was a washer and dryer based on the listing, but this 2 bedroom unit does not have them.

I needed a one night stay before starting a tour throughout New England. This location was easy to get to from the trains, the apartment was wonderfully kept and easy to stay in. If you’re in the area, I would consider this location.

First night the people upstairs speaking until past 2 am. Not enough noise barrier between floors
