Excellent central location

Quick and easy communication with Mark who answered all my concerns and queries quickly and thoroughly. The apartment was immaculate, beautifully decorated and in a fantastic location. The view of the water and the town from the living room is beautiful at any time of day, one of our highlights. Lovely to enjoy after a day sightseeing. We loved it and will be recommending it to friends and family.

Absolutely one of the best properties we've ever stayed. The hosts provided us a welcome gift (thanks!) and an apartment which was incredible to stay for three nights. We had to communicate once during our stay for a small, unexpected repair needed and they were right on it. Their maintenance person was in and out of the apartment (while we were there) in 5 minutes. We couldn't think of anything which needed improvement. Thank you for such a wonderful place to stay !

Absolutely perfect location....spotlessly clean and met all our needs.

2nd visit . This time tv didnt work and wifi was very slow . Clean and tidy . Street noise in the early morning and late at night seems to have increased from our last visit .

Another fantastic stay in a fabulous apartment!We've just returned from another wonderful long weekend in Mark's beautiful apartment – it really is a true home from home. Everything was just as perfect as always, and we’re already counting down the days until our return in February. It’s become such a special place for us that we’re even talking about 2027 already!This time, we finally managed to get a table at Velveteen, which was a real treat, and our evenings were filled with a few too many cocktails at Cafe Montmartre – fast becoming our favourite bar! Sunday lunch at Sneaton Castle was absolutely delicious too.We’ve added a couple more DVDs to the growing collection – there’s nothing better than a cosy Sunday evening with a cheesy rom-com, a glass of wine, and the twinkling lights in the background.Another brilliant stay, and we’re already looking forward to the next one. Thanks again, Mark – your place really is a gem.

The property is excellent. Very close to shops , restaurants etc All you need for your stay is provided . Also there is so much to see within walking distance of the proper.

Brilliant location, very clean ,booked again in October.

Property was very nice and clean. Property was in the middle of town and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see. A lovely view over the river from the living room window watching the boats come and go. Great time had by all.

A lovely apartment - very comfortable, warm and with everything you need for a great stay. The location was unbeatable - no hills to get to and from and right in the centre of everything. Perfect for exploring lovely Whitby. Hosts very helpful.

Not sure how many times we have stayed here now but it’s absolutely our property of choice. Perfect location (love the views from the lounge) and the accommodation is so well maintained - spotlessly clean and everything you need. Super comfy beds too! We already have two more trips booked and hoping to get in for a further two next year!

We love this apartment. Everything is within a short walking distance. It is well equipped with everything you need. Now an annual event for us

The apartment was perfectly located and as described. We never met or talked to the host but appreciated all he did — having the apartment well stocked and nicely furnished, and leaving a welcome book with many helpful suggestions.

Good as normal

The apartment is in a perfect location in the old town, looking directly over the swing bridge. The standard of fittings and furnishings is excellent and the rooms a great size. Check in/out was simple and we managed to get a parking space in church Street, a two minute walk. If you're a light sleeper I'd recommend earplugs as there is some traffic noise in the main bedroom due to the central location.

Could not fault the apartment at all. Spotlessly clean....much more spacious than we had anticipated. Very well equipped and furnished to a high standard. Could be put off by the alleyway entrance.....but once inside.....10/10.
