Stayed Jun 25, 2021The room was a good size with lovely wood flooring and a small kitchen area. The bed was big and comfortable, as were the pillows. The studio was very quiet, especially as it was so close to the train track and a fairly busy road and a perfect location for Kew Gardens and other places we wanted to visit. Geoff seemed like a nice, helpful guy. Unfortunately lots of things were not so good. There were cobwebs above the bed, the curtains were very dirty, only 1 out of 3 lights in the bathroom worked, the bathroom door wouldn't shut and the shower was not working properly so there was only scalding hot water. I did mention this to Geoff and he assured me it would be promptly sorted. The french doors were rusted along the bottom with some trim hanging off and the bathroom mirror was very rusty too. These were things that could have been made good at very little expense but would made such a massive difference to the place, it just needed some TLC.

Stayed Dec 31, 1969Kew rooms is in a perfect location to visit Kew Gardens and Richmond with good amenities nearby. The accommodation is basic but clean and comfortable at a very good price. The host was friendly and helpful especially reserving a parking space for me as I'm disabled. We also loved the resident cat!

Stayed Dec 31, 1969I stayed for two nights while visiting The National Archives nearby. Kew Rooms does include rooms within the house, but I was in a rear annex. Breakfast was served in the house and included a variety of cereals, also cold meat. I was pleased to share the breakfast room with the proprietor's two cats.
