Stayed Dec 27, 2023Overall great place to stay and less than 10 minutes from Boyne Mountain. Everything was nicely re-modeled and beautiful. Only issue we had was the oven was brand new and when we used it, it had a burn off which made the place smell for most of our stay. Also the closet on the main floor does not stay locked... unlocks by turning the handle. Also suggest a bed in the loft instead of a pull-out couch.

Stayed Sep 2, 2022We really enjoyed our stay at the loft. It's been beautifully restored and more than met the needs of our group. The view from the deck with Lake Charlevoix in the distance is very impressive, and the restored exterior of the schoolhouse and grounds is top notch. Would definitely stay again!

Stayed Jul 14, 2022Very cute and clean. The loft was advertised as a queen and it was a pull out. Plenty of room for a bed instead. Needed some instructions for the door lock on the back of the door, more towels and the air conditioning was having issues. The manager had someone working on the ac problem. I would recommend and stay there again. They just need to tweak a few little things for a perfect stay.
