Sunrise - an apartment that sleeps 4 guests in 2 bedrooms

We stayed in the house for three nights. The house is nicely furnished and in a good location in the village. There are several restaurants nearby. We were bothered by the musty smell in the house. It caused my lungs problems. The damp air mainly comes from the bathroom, but the kitchen cupboards and wardrobe also smelled musty. During our stay, we kept all the windows and the front door open to get fresh air. It was quiet at night. You can hear the seagulls screeching, but that's part of a fishing village.

The cottage was as good as we had hoped. Very central but quiet position. Very comfortable beds with good quality linen. Well stocked cupboards for everyday living - crockery, cutlery, pans etc. A few minuses. As previously reported there were no where near enough hooks or hanging spaces - especially in the bathroom. With 4 people resident we had a lot of towels but nowhere to hang them. A shelf for toilet bags etc would have been useful. The wardrobe was too narrow to hold a row of hangers in a line. The twin bedroom had one hook behind the door! The key safe and the central heating controls were complicated.

So well accommodated with every amenity thoughtfully considered. I was welcomed with flowers, Cornwall fudge, coffee and milk to start my holiday. Very comfortably layed out with a fully functional kitchen (I even successfully tried my hand at making pasties with o problem, l ly hax to substitute wine bottle for a rolling pin!) and the combo washer/dryer was a very nice bonus. Also, the shower is 1st class with ample hot water and a heated towel rack. Besides the great accommodation, its location right in the heart of the village was so convenient. I would book the Sunrise again in a heartbeat if I am ever lucky enough to return. Thank you also to Vera and Reva for their excellent housekeeping!

This is a small, adequate cottage in a good location. It’s fine for a short/weekend break in Mousehole.

Thanks for the lovely, easy and comfortable family holiday at Sunrise cottage. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it's well-equipped and perfectly located to enjoy a few days in Mousehole. Steps away from the harbour with restaurants and a deli as well as immediate access to the coast path. Would highly recommend!

Me and my friends stayed here for the New Year's period and it was perfect. Sunrise was perfectly located in the village and gave us all we needed for our stay. I'd definitely look to booking here again.
