Nicestay in Seattle! than you somuch for the help
Beautiful unit in a nice older home in a terrific neighborhood. Wonderful seating in the living room and kitchen, comfy beds, easy parking. Fun decor and style.
The unit was larger than I thought it would be and with lots of personality. Kitchen well stocked with utensils, even salt, pepper and olive oil. Laundry in the basement. Loved that street parking was always available out front and that you could walk to many cool places including Fremont area. Bus stop about 1/2 block away, small grocery market about 3 or 4 blocks away. The unit has a side covered side porch and access to a yard which was pleasant for an evening glass of wine. If you like large showers, note the shower is small.
The location was good. It was quite dirty. Dishes and floors were especially dirty. Light bulbs burned out in many areas. Hard to reach manAger initially. We were disappointed .
Good place to stay while visiting Seattle
Lovely property with beautiful architectural detail and planning. Great neighborhood, convenient to public transportation, Very nice hosts. Would stay again.
Everything was perfect and we enjoyed our time there! The house is in a very nice area of town. We walked a couple minutes to reach the E Bus into the city center but we also enjoyed walking around in the Fremont neighbourhood. I would highly recommend this accommodation and would gladly stay there again.
Great rental in a historic home. Clean, comfortable, laundry available in basement, easy check I. And check out. Street parking easily available in front of the house. Would stay again!
my husband and i were visiting for a long wedding weekend and selected this place for the proximity to our friend’s house. the location was great and in a very beautiful neighborhood. architecturally, the building is interesting and the check-in process was fairly straightforward. however, upon entering the unit we noticed the place was very dirty despite seeing cleaners leave the property. the bed linens seemed clean but the towels had a slight mildewy odor. there was hair in the kitchen sink, shower, and around the bathroom sink. several light fixtures in the bathroom didn’t work, there was a used bandaid in the trash, and there was a half used bar of dove soap in the shower with no other shower products like body wash, shampoo, or conditioner. we also found many dead bugs throughout the unit and overall didn’t feel very comfortable. there isn’t a closet in the bedroom but there is an armoire that can hang about six items—it would be nice if there were a few more hangers available since we had a lot of formal attire with us. we didn’t attempt to use the kitchen so i can’t speak to the availability of cookware or utensils. the refrigerator was not clean and did not have anything in it besides cocktail sauce. i hate to leave a harsh review but i wish i had known the state of cleanliness before booking. i hope the owner will consider hiring a new cleaning crew as the property has a lot of potential and is in a stellar location.
It's a convenient spot in a quite neighborhood, would love to stay again.
We loved staying in a well designed space that was welcoming and so very comfortable!
This is a lovely apartment in a large old house. All of the rooms were very comfortable and clean. It was handy to have the owners just across the hall since the battery died on the electronic door opener and they were able to call a handyman to come and fix it that evening. It wasn't a big thing since there's another entrance that worked fine. There are steps if that's a problem for you. There is some street noise from time to time. Should we find ourselves in Seattle again, we would be willing to stay here again, but we would request the 2nd floor. As the owners warn, there can be noise from other guests arriving late. We were awakened at around 1:45 a.m. by what sounded like a family of elephants stomping up the stairs and around their apartment for about an hour. It was our last night, so it was an unpleasant way to end what had been a very pleasant stay. It's too bad those other guests had not read about the noise situation.
The property was great and we loved the layout. The shower stall is a bit on the small side but certainly doable. It did get a bit noisy some of the nights (sirens and some loud cars), but we are not city dwellers and that may be normal. We were able to walk down to the center of Fremont, as well as to some restaurants and a grocery store. We would certainly stay here again when visiting Seattle.
Unfortunately the communication was limited for two issues. The TV stopped working. The issue was eventually dealt with. The other issue was I left a toiletries bag behind bathroom door with over $200 worth of products. I reached out to the owner, but it was not dealt with in my opinion. Very disappointed.
When we first came into the apartment we were struct by the beautiful decor. After fully moving in we realized how comfortable and accommodating the apartment was. We certainly will come back again.
Perfect location to Seattle, Wallingford and Fremont Districts. Walking distance to both. Everything at the house was perfect. Quiet location. Felt very safe walking in the neighborhoods, neighbors were all kind and friendly. From walking we felt welcome. Having on-site host was great. She was friendly and informative. Will certainly stay there again.
This is THE nicest place ever! As traveling Rn’s we have high standards and expectations and this place met them all. Quaint, tidy, clean, roomy, safe and secure, it was beyond amazing. We will for sure be back and we plan to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place.
Peacocks, black and white checks/stripes, and glorious bathroom ceiling with reproduced murals from Versailles. Clean property, great shower, well equipped kitchen. One bedroom has double bed and second queen-sized bed pulls down from a wall of the living room. We loved the welcoming fire-in-fireplace video on the wall monitor. Convenient to Green Lake parks.
