Stayed Oct 9, 2025The location of this unit was great. The noise from the restaurant was minimal. Just outside of door was park on the lake. Affordable alternative to a hotel. Every day we were asked if we needed any maid service.

Stayed Oct 7, 2025VRBO posted a very misleading picture showing a porch attached to the room as well as in the description. Fortunately, the owner upgraded my room to one that had a porch. What she did was above and beyond what could be expected. I cannot coment on room 9, but room 8 that I got was perfect. My confidence in vrbo is a little shken by the room description given by them. Again deal directly with Shannon, the owner, instead of vrbo.

Stayed Sep 1, 2025Had a great stay. The location was great in the center of town with a waterfront park right out the door. Parking is always a Lake Placid issue, but clear instructions and a map made finding a spot easy and it was only a block away. Would definitely book again.

Stayed Apr 5, 2025My boyfriend and I stayed here for our one year anniversary trip and they spoiled us to say the least! They had rose petals laid out and a happy anniversary banner hanging with a nice card left by staff! It was so sentimental and private. We enjoyed ourselves very much and would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Stayed Sep 19, 2024This was a great stay right in the middle of town but still had it’s privacy and was quiet inside. We loved being able to walk to any shop or restaurant at any time. I did think it had its own private balcony when booking based off pics and it didn’t, however walking out to the lawn to take in the view was just as good. Parking was close and smooth. The place was clean and had everything we needed. Would absolutely stay again!
