The old motor lodge re-invented! We recently took two hotel rooms and combined into one nice kitchenette suite. All new bathrooms, kitchens, doors, windows, lock system and furniture. Still has the old radiators and wall mounted AC units that we just couldn't find a way around, but they work great! An excellent base camp to enjoy the Black Hills and Badlands. Stayed May 2, 2024Our rooms were clean, furnished, and stocked with supplies. Everything worked. No complaints. I will stay again if I am in the area. Definitely recommend.

Stayed Jul 17, 2023Overall, Excellent. If there's anything that was a bit off-putting, was the musty smell when we first entered. We sprayed Febreze every day, when we left to go exploring and every night before we retired for the night. It took 3 - 4 days for the musty smell to fade, and we only stayed 5 days. Did the carpeting get very wet at some point in time?

Stayed Jun 20, 2023Everything the listing says is accurate. It's not glamorous, but very clean and the location was ideal for going to all the South Dakota attractions. There were a few amenities I think most people would like to see added. We were disappointed not to have a tv in the bedroom; at the end of a long day, we like to veg out without getting up again. The air conditioner is, as stated, in the living area, but there is a fan to set up that blew the cooler air into the bedroom. The shower was adequate, but we would have appreciated a towel ring or bar to hang our hand towel on. Overall, we were very happy with this property. The check in and out process was easy and fast. The bed was comfy (but those pillows!! Was glad I'd brought my own!) and again, everything was very clean which is the most important thing to us!
