Stylish, chic, family Appart in SoPi : highly equiped, very central and quiet

An amazing location and a wonderful spot for our family of 5. We saw all the sights in a few short days thanks to easy access to the metro and a grocery store right down the street. It was perfect!

The street entrance to this building was not nice - broken glass, neighbouring strip joints. But the apartment itself was excellent, and far enough off the street for the noise not to be too bad.

This apartment is in an authentic yet central part of Paris where you can experience everyday life as lived by Parisians and the cafes and restaurants they frequent rather than those in the areas packed with tourists. We are so grateful for that atmosphere, the ability to catch a bus or metro only a couple of minutes walk away to any of the sites you might wish to visit or to make train connections, the well stocked little supermarket 1 minute away, the boulangerie on the nearby corner, the thoughtful creation of a Parisian vibe in the well stocked and very comfortable apartment and particularly the host Diane who even before you arrive has gone way beyond any normal expectation of what a host can do to smooth your arrival and your stay in this city she loves. Her preparation information saves so much research and her detailed first hand recommendations are invaluable. This really contributed to the quality of our experience particularly in the local area in the 5 days we had.

Everything was absolutely perfect. We felt very much at home with both the furnishings and the amenities that were available. Diane’s house book full of information about the area, shops, restaurants, etc. was incredibly complete and very very helpful.Check in was a breeze – Allan did a lovely job of orienting us to the house and things that we might need.We thoroughly enjoyed the area – exploring Montmartre in more depth than I have in the past was a lot of fun.The proximity of grocery stores and great bakeries/pastry shops was definitely a plus. Our favorite boulangerie was just down the street from the apartment.Will definitely stay here again.

This is a great apartment in a great location, stocked with everything our family of 4 could need - kitchenware, cleaning supplies, extra sheets and bedding - everything is as advertised, and everything works. Host was easy to communicate with, very organized and super helpful. The welcome guide gave us all the info we needed and more - perfect tips on local spots, how to get along with Parisians, how to get places, and even how to get in the mood for Paris. Highly recommend!

We needed to wash the dishes by hand to make sure they were clean. Those put away were not.

The apartment was well very appointed and the beds were very very comfortable. The lift is something to admire. It is the size of a closet and lands between floors with stairs the rest of the way. So big suitcases need some coordination. But it adds to the charm. Very convenient location with the metro train station just minutes away. Or if you like a good walk, you can be at the main attractions within an hour.

Diane’s place was perfect for our family of 4. She was extremely responsive and gave us recommendations on exploring the city while we were visiting. Checking in would have been a little confusing, but she sent a neighbor to help us get in. We loved exploring the neighborhood and it was easy to hop on the metro to explore Paris.

A beautiful apartment with everything you need. Unfortunately there was short term construction in the building when we were there which was disruptive. The owners tried to mitigate it which was helpful. The bedrooms were nice and large. Pigalle is an interesting place to stay and can be loud but our place was quiet.

This is a lovely apartment with a super responsive host. So close to the metro and restaurants - and so helpful with anything you might need! Highly recommend.

There were plenty of shops nearby, groceries, restaurants a metro and bus lines. It was a great place!

This is the nicest apartment I’ve stayed at in my 8 visits to Paris. Very large and light nicely decorated with fun lighting and spotless. Our host was very kind even offering extra nights at reduced rates when our travel was compromised by protests on both ends. The only issue is the shock of all the sex shops in the area. But what the heck! Just avoid that area. The rest of the neighborhood was very cool and we loved exploring a new region.

Wonderful place for a family visit to Paris. Being able to walk to local attractions was superb, and great info provided for getting around. We'd happily stay again. Many thanks

We had a great stay at Diane’s apartment. The location is very convenient - Metro stop about a block away, walking distance to Sacre Coeur, etc. Well equipped kitchen and washer/dryer were a big plus. There are many restaurants and shops in the area — we had fun exploring the changing “SoPi” neighborhood and made easy jaunts around Paris. Communication about check-in process with Diane was good as well.

My family of 4 (child. 15,11) stayed for 3 nights, first-time in Paris, no French. We could not have stayed in a more perfect place. Everything about the aparment made us feel that we were in Paris, from the beautiful windows to the inner courtyard, the tasteful art and furniture, and all the tiny welcoming and thoughtful details throghout the apartment, which was fully equipped. Our stay was short, but we never felt that we were wasting time when we were inside the apartment; as we were experiencing Paris within. - Diane, our host, provided a welcome guide before our visit with many useful tips about the neighborhood, transportation, Paris culture, suggestions for movies, books, apps, details about the appliances, wi-fi, and apartment how-tos. She arranged for Rose to greet us when we arrived and show us how to get in through the double set of doors. Diane was responsive prior to and during our visit for our questions.-The beds were very comfortable. Our daughters slept on two individual beds that were narrower than the twin size they are used to in the US, but they did not have any issues with that. -The bathroom was great, color-coded towels, great shower, the washer/dryer were great (though longer cycles). -Fully stocked kitchen, beautiful dining room.-Location - secure, peaceful, steps away from Metro and bus lines, grocery store on same block, stores nearby, walking distance to Sacre-Coeur. -Note it is 5 flights up - tiny elevator for bags,1-2 people.

We had a wonderful three days in the heart of Paris. The unit was lovely and the advice from the owner was really great.

This was our first trip overseas and I was nervous about finding the home and getting in but Diane had all of the instructions spelled out very clearly and our stay was wonderful.

This apartment was fantastic. The location in Pigalle couldn’t have been better - plenty of shops and excellent restaurants, plus barely a block from the Metro. Because it’s such a popular neighborhood, there were people out every night and it felt very safe. The apartment was clean and well stocked, plus check in and out was a breeze. The only slightly negative thing I could say is that the building seems to be under renovation, so the stairs were a bit difficult to navigate (covered in paper) and the WiFi was spotty. So just be aware of that if you need a fast internet connection for work. Otherwise, 10 out of 10 would book this apartment again!

The apartment is in a location with access to all of the city and lots of food and grocery options close-by.

My family of five stayed here for 3 nights and the apartment had everything we needed. Check in was a breezy and the on site laundry worked wonderfully. Streets around may be busy but we didn’t have any issue with noise. We were even able to hear the bells from the nearby church each night. Traveling with teens, I was worried about having enough room for everyone but it was not an issue. There was plenty of space for everyone and it was a great place to recharge from a day of running around Paris.

Beds were comfortable, including the pull out couch. Location was very close to the metro and several restaurants for a good variety of fantastic food. The Hot Water heater broke our first day there, but Diane was very quick to get it fixed while we were out exploring for the day. Great host!

Location great, apartment well supplied with basic needs and very clean. Don't be put off by seedy looking exterior, once inside it is another world. Close to all transport. Thank you Diane for your detailed directions and information. We loved your apartment and will highly recommend it to any friends coming to Paris.

The location in Pigalle was excellent: just far enough away from the centre of the heaviest tourist traffic, but close enough to easily get to all the locations. It was a fabulous apartment to come back to as a respite from the hustle of Paris in early autumn. Everything we needed was in the apartment. We could cook at home to keep some of our travel costs down. The host was very responsive and welcoming. We were met at the apartment, which made it an easy check-in process. We would return to the apartment on a future trip.

My family stayed here for 6 nights during the Olympic Games. Location was great- just 2 minutes from the Pigalle Metro station. The property met our expectations. It was as described on the listing and was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable and the shower was better than most. I would definitely recommend this property. Diane was easy to work with and very accommodating with respect to check-in and check-out procedures.
