Hythe is a beautiful historical coastal town set in Kent, the Garden of England.

Enjoy a spot of shopping in the unique, independent shops that line the high street; or discover your adventurous side with a host of outdoor activities including sailing, windsurfing, swimming and golf. The town boasts a beautiful long beachfront that is perfect for a seaside walk, picnic or flying kites. Hythe, with stunning views overlooking the beach, parks and greenery lead to the Royal Military Canal, which stretches for 28 miles, with cycle and walking routes. Nearby, the popular destination of Port Lympne Reserve is not to be missed with its stunning scenery and endangered animals. It's a must-see for any visitor to the area and will easily occupy a full day.

Saltwood village, just a mile north of Hythe, is home to Saltwood Castle, famed for being the location where the plot was hatched to assassinate Thomas Becket.

Debs flat in Hythe was great, just as described. The location was wonderful, the sea was just across the street. The flat was spacious, clean, and well heated, with comfortable beds and nice amenities. The neighbors upstairs could occasionally be noisy late at night. Light sleeper you will be fine with earplugs. Debs and Phil were easy to contact and helpful in every way. We would be happy to stay here again.

Superb location on seafront with short walk to town and great access to local attractions. However property needs some attention paid to cleanliness and maintenance: - deck speckled with bird droppings and beach chairs completely encrusted and unusable. Other chairs only comfortable for limited duration. - windows dirty (cleaned ourselves) - Tub/shower slow draining - minimal or zero kitchen supplies (salt and pepper, sugar and teas) pot, pans etc pretty tired condition. With a few improvements and greater attention to maintenance this place would be ideal.

We enjoyed our stay here. Beautiful old building facing the seafront. It was nice to enjoy a glass of wine at the end of the day while sitting on the balcony or wrapped in a blanket at the start of a day, sitting in the rocking chair, sipping coffee and watching the day break. Check in was very easy and Debbie and Phil were quick to respond to our questions. Thanks for a great stay!

The property was everything I was looking for! The location, the view, the facilities were just as described & exactly what I wanted. I spent a long time looking on various sites before finding this but it was worth the effort! I was sad to leave and hope to return. The double bed is so comfortable - I can’t recall when I last slept so well.

We’ve stayed in Hythe often over the years. This is a lovely location on a quiet part of the seafront. Handy for shops and cafes.
