The property is in a great location right off Plaza Mercado. The space itself was clean and well set-up though there is a definite mold problem in the bathroom particularly around the base of the shower. The issue was check-in. There is a coded entry system which simply did not work. When I called the number given, they spoke no English and my Spanish was insufficient. This was the first issue since their posting states they speak English. Apparently only the owner does.The only way to communicate with his is WhatsApp so if you do not have it, you will need to download it.Ultimately, I had to engage VRBO to get a response from these folks. We spent OVER TWO HOUR standing outside repeatedly doing what was required with no results. We sent pictures (yes, we were at the right place). We sent videos (yes, mew were doing it correctly). After two plus hours they finally recognized the system wasn't working and I was able to pick up the keys a two minute walk away. If they had actually listened and been proactive, thus could have been resolved in ten minutes. Instead, hey refused to believe they were at fault and wasted our time and ruined our first night on town
