The area was superb. Amazing restaurants, boutiques and local market with everything from produce to vinegars and oils. Almost all major attractions were walkable. Apartment well equipped and spotless. Communication and service was excellent.

Our stay here was absolutely perfect. The location to everything we wanted to do (Campo de' Fiori, Trastavere, Vatican City, Roman Forum, etc) was perfect. It's also on a charming street with great bars, restaurants, and shops steps away. The apartment itself was perfect for two people. The bed was comfortable and large, there was great storage for all our things, and the AC was always cool when we got home. We also picked this one for the charming terrace, it's the best spot to sip wine or espresso in the evening before going out for dinner. The hosts made checkin simple and easy too. The one compaint if any, is that the bathroom and shower are on the smaller side, but that didn't bother us too much. Highly recommend this spot!

Lovely stay in a great location in Rome! We had three adults here and made it work with the bed, couch, and pull out. The apartment is quite a gem and a great welcome to Rome. The balcony is nice and simple and quiet. We did not have access to the elevator but the host kindly carried my moms suitcase up the stairs for us, top floor! The location is right next to a beautiful piazza. Lots of shopping and food right around the corner. And a daily market. The host communicated well. We took an uber in and out, unsure of how easy the the public transportation system is.

This is a special place and we loved it. It is a 4th storey walk-up, with tall uneven steps, so keep that in mind for mobility limitations. But the space is clean, beautiful, functional, and convenient. The location gives you truly the best of Rome plus a great night’s sleep in the main bedroom. I don’t recommend the pull-out couch bed for anyone over 12 years old, but it did its job in our case and the additional sitting couch was really comfy to hang out on. The shower was the smallest we had in Italy, at approx. 4.5 square-feet in total, and the toilet is awkwardly placed space-wise, but all this is balanced out by the incredible location, quiet, and cleanliness.

The stay was amazing and comfortable and host was very responsive! Only thing I would recommend is lights in the hallways leading up to the apartment!! Very dark so could be a hazard but everything else was perfect

I stayed for 5 nights just before the Easter weekend. The communication with the host was great, she always responded quickly to my questions. I arrived in the morning on a long flight from the US. The managing host Maria from Hometop was kind enough to send out a greeter who met me at the apartment in the morning, let me in and explained a few things. I really appreciated being able to check in early! The apartment had everything I needed and had a small little balcony overlooking the rooftops. I slept very well on the comfortable bed. The apartment is in the historic center , 2 minutes from the open air market. I was able to walk to all the sights like the Vatican, Piazza Navona, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Steps etc. The location couldn’t have been more perfect. There is a nice cafe around the corner where I bought my croissant for breakfast. It felt like a very authentic roman experience and I can’t wait to go back.Thank you!

Ideal location on an ancient street, very quiet yet close to many sites, shops, restaurants, and public transit. Well-furnished; comfortable bed. The bathroom is a bit quirky, but no significant issues. We enjoyed the terrace, even in late fall. We would be very happy to stay here again.

I stayed at Maria’s wonderful apartment in Rome for nearly three weeks this November. It was one of the best decisions I made for my trip! The space was very clean, well-supplied with everything you would need in the kitchen, bathroom and bedroom, and, best of all, centrally located. I was able to see everything I wanted to see, whether it was the Vatican, the Colosseum, the Pantheon, or Trastevere, by walking. I took a bus to Santa Maria Maggiore and further on, but it was an easy walk to the bus stop, and a single bus to my various destinations. The grocery, bakery and Tabaccheria are literally 5 minutes or less away. I made a home base of one of the restaurants in the Campo dei Fiori, and enjoyed eating there multiple times and getting to know the staff. I ALWAYS felt safe—a single woman, alone all the time—even when I came in later at night. Maria and her staff were immediately responsive, pleasant and helpful. They arranged my taxi from and to the airport with no hassle. Prompt and courteous drivers. I hope to bring my husband to Rome in 2026 and stay in this or one of Maria’s other properties. Can’t recommend her enough!

Not a very inviting entrance and then be prepared for 3+ flights of stairs. A challenge for me and annoying when there is an elevator but not not available to the renter. The sofa bed mattress was very poor and not in good condition. Suggest the owner replaces it. Loved the terrace. We loved tge terr

Location was great - we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. Apartment was clean, and Leonardo and Maria were great hosts, answering questions and responding to emails. Felt like we had a home in the middle of Rome! Would highly recommend.

Had a great time in Rome and this property was in a perfect location. Easy to get anywhere, short walks to public transportation, lots of restaurants close by, and the piazza was bustling day and night!! Would definitely stay here again.

We absolutely loved our time in Rome and this apartment as our home base was awesome. So many restaurants and shops nearby and so many of the major attractions were very accessible. One of our best meals of the trip was at the restaurant just outside the front door. The apartment itself was clean and served us very well.

This apartment is in a great location, as we could walk to everywhere. Good restaurants and bars nearby. The stairs were not a problem for us. Air conditioning was a bonus given the heat.
