Stayed Feb 2, 2025Even before we arrived there were concerns. The point of contact was slow to respond to our questions and didn't know specific details about the property amenities. We learned that, while the property was listed as having laundry appliances, it was actually a shared laundry room for the entire apartment complex and was without detergent. Once we arrived and entered the room, we were immediately overcome by a bizarre smell. We also noticed debris on the floor, and large smudges on the mirrors and television. We found this strange, as the host had informed us that the room was being deep-cleaned just hours before our arrival. As we looked around we saw water damage on the base of the walls in the living room area, lamenate with major peeling in the shower, and dead bugs along with edge of the ceiling. Further, we noticed the room looked different than the advertisement. We developed a headache within 30 minutes of being in the room and were nauseous as we approached 1 hour. The smell in the room was overwhelming and making us ill.Furthermore, while there the cleaners stopped by the room to bring an extra towel and admitted to us that they were new, had little help and didn't know how to clean the room. All in all this experience was unacceptable and a health risk.
