Great place

Beautiful stay on the beach! We had a lovely time enjoying the sun on the beach as well as the hot tub and sauna. Our hosts were very kind whenever we crossed paths!

This was a beautiful stay right on the water. We loved the room, the hot tub, and the rocky beach walks. Everything was so nice and clean. My wife and I came to celebrate our wedding anniversary, and the host even gave us some nice flowers and a card. Very responsive to questions and as helpful as could be. Whidbey Island is beautiful and is close to so many great sites. It’s a very quiet and peaceful spot.

What an amazing place to stay. So comfortable and clean. The host were wonderful people. Enjoyed visiting with them. Loved having a private quiet beach to myself. I will definitely be back.

The studio was great , the view spectacular. The owner on site and and doing yard work right around the house for our whole stay there, took away alot of privacy.

My fiancé and I had a lovely stay at the studio. The space was clean and offered all of our necessities. It was amazing to wake up to beautiful sunrises over the water and walk our pup along the beach. The location was perfect - central to all of our excursions, and the hot tub was the best way to relax after a day of exploring the island.

The grounds and the studio were absolutely beautiful and the hosts were discreet yet so warm and inviting when we crossed paths! Such a cozy and perfect stay. We enjoyed taking in the stunning views and rain while enjoying a wonderful soak in the beautiful hot tub! Couldn't be happier with our stay and can't wait to visit again!

We really enjoyed the location, the setting, and the hot tub! The space is cozy and perfect for a romantic getaway or location to spend some downtime. Whidbey Island is gorgeous and lots of great places to see. If you wanted to do a lot of cooking, this location may not be ideal because of the size. The host was very attentive and helpful.

I think the hot tub can be serviced for water cleanliness. I could not figure out how to change the temperature (how to lower it).The bathroom sink is the only sink in the studio so one thing good would be to replace the spigot with one that has a longer neck (goose neck type) to help with its use for cleaning Thank you!!

The hot tub and sauna were great! Beach view and walks on beach were perfect! Getting the kayak into the water could not have been easier. Weather was perfect!!We loved it and our dog loved it!Only one thing prevented a 5 star rating and that was my shower going cold after only 5 minutes but really was a 4.75 stars because every thing else was perfect!!!

Debbie's studio was cozy with a beautiful view of the cove. We just missed an orca pod right before we arrived but it was still fun to keep our eyes out for a possible return.The view is lovely and the property is peaceful

We loved having our morning coffee at this quiet spot right on the water at Penn Cove. It was easy for us to get to Coupeville to enjoy a meal there and we had a great day taking the ferry to Port Townsend.

We had a wonderful time here. The location is stunning, we had a plenty of privacy, and the hosts were delightful. They even offered us fresh caught Dungeness crab! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing stay.

Absolutely love this place! You are right on the water, in a strip of the coast that has very few people, the hosts are kind and respectful of privacy, and we would definitely stay here again. Do not expect to do much cooking, but that was a bonus for me! We enjoyed having breakfast here and bringing food in. The bed was very comfortable and we loved watching the moon rise over Penn cove from the adorable upper loft. A sweet pied a mare for two people!

Lovely place to spend a couple of nights. We enjoyed walking the short beach and sitting in the hot tub. It’s a very cute, well appointed place, the bed is extremely comfortable!The chickens hanging out by the door made it somewhat treacherous to walk without being very careful where you step.

This place was so dreamy and the perfect little getaway from Seattle. Loved being right on the water, and the hot tub/sauna were a huge bonus! Would definitely love to stay here again sometime. Thank you Debbie!

This studio is a gem. It’s a perfect get away with a view that cannot be beat. I took my paddle board out every day. The hot tub and sauna are perfect after a dip in the water. I will be back.

Loved sitting and walking on my private beach. Very peaceful and relaxing within the vicinity of an incredible local pier. I enjoyed the eagles including a golden as well as other abundant bird life. Perfectly located to eat in Coupeville or hike in the neighboring state park/beach

Cute place and great location.

We had such a lovely, peaceful stay at this little island retreat. The beach was quiet and calm and we got to walk the beach and watch the wildlife all weekend (plus the live-in chicken & ducks!). The studio is literally right on the beach and has a wonderful view from the large front windows. The bed was comfy and the mini-fridge was big enough for the weekend. We played card games in the loft and watched cartoons on the flatscreen! The hot tub was wonderful, but we were unable to get the firepit lit (darn rain!). We were here in early April, so it was breezy and chilly outside. The radiator in the main part of the studio was great, but the bathroom heater wasn't able to keep up. There were only 2 small, very fixable negatives, which were the oven smoking and setting off the smoke alarm each time we turned it on-- a previous tenant must have spilled something in it. The 2nd was the shower getting cold much too quickly, like 5-10 minutes in, so we learned to take very fast showers! These didn't dampen our trip, though. It was still a quiet, lovely, picturesque, and magical stay! Lastly, the caretaker was very friendly, quiet, and allowed us plenty of privacy.

We had a wonderful weekend in mid February at the studio. The views and location unbeatable and the bed very comfy. I would highly recommend this place and would come back in a heartbeat.

Mere steps from the beach on beautiful Penn Cove. Super comfy bed & cozy studio. Bonus being dog friendly. Fantastic communication with the host. Location was great - central to the Island - easy to sightsee North one day and South the next. Nearby Coupeville has amazing shops & restaurants.

Perfect location, superb views and great accommodations. We come to the area a couple of times a year and will look to stay here again.

Such a good time my husband and I had in spite of cold weather and wind. This is a delightful spot, and we plan to return in the spring. The owners were very nice and low key. A five rating!

This place was perfection. The pictures don’t do it justice. The studio itself is cozy and lovely. The property is adorable and right on the cove! We also enjoyed the hot tub which was perfectly sized for the two of us and looked out into the water. Don’t pass up this amazing slice of heaven!!!

The Penn cove studio was perfect for a quick Whidbey getaway! It’s an amazing location, right on the water and a quick bike ride to the Kettles or fort Ebey state park. The place is clean and comfy and the hosts are super friendly. Can’t wait to stay again!

I wish I could have stayed at least a day longer at this gem. The bed is so fluffy and comfy, everything felt extremely clean. We made use of the little kitchenette, it was great for simple meals. The cedar hot tub was delicious and overall I felt I had more than adequate privacy despite this being a guesthouse. Every interaction with the hosts was lovely. They even let us pick some apples from the yard! The real treasure was launching our paddle boards from the private beach. Highly recommend this stay
