The apartment is small and very functional. Your basic needs are all addressed very comfortably. The Tourist Card that the owners, Branka and Hans, arranged for us to obtains was GREAT. In short, our stay was wonderful and the hosts were amazing!

An amazing apartment in the hills of Spiez with incredible access to Lake Thun and within a short driving distance to Thun where I needed to be for an early Ironman start. It was spacious, clean, had everything you could want for a trip away and was owned by the friendliest couple in Branka and Hans! Thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

Everything was absolutely wonderful to include the host. Great location, a lot of space and close to transportation to everything. Perfect quiet spot to come back to after a busy day adventuring. Would highly recommend

This was a lovely studio apartment for us to stay. Within walking distance to Spiez Marina and its attractions. Easy to drive to and from. Branka and Hans are very helpful and easygoing.

Owner had great communication and even picked us up at the train station upon arrival. Place was clean, spacious, & in a great location. Loved having a washer & dryer, and coffee pods/creamer also provided during our stay.

Speiz is a beautiful area. This property is right on the bus route to take you to Interlaken, or a short walk to the water and the ferry. We missed our bus once, and it is only a 10-15 minute walk to the train station as well. The property was clean, the owners, who live upstairs are very nice, and she speaks so many languages.

We loved our relaxing stay at this wonderful, comfortable studio. We loved cooking our own meals in the well equipped kitchen. They even had ice! We stayed here to do laundry mid trip and their high end machines made doing laundry a breeze. We took the bus to the train station. Two different lines run hourly. The proprietors went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We would love to return someday.

Our stay was wonderful! Very comfortable, even with the 90 degree weather. Loved the kitchen, had everything we needed. What a pleasure to stay somewhere that was so clean and we'll maintained. Thank you Branka and Hans!

My husband and I loved staying in Spiez! Our VRBO experience was wonderful. It was clean, comfortable and close to both the train and bus station. Definitely recommend staying here!

Really nice hosts with a Great spacious property with all the conveniences of home all set in a quiet location.

We were so impressed with our accommodations, the apartment was clean and had full laundry appliances (yes, a dryer!) The kitchen had all the amenities needed including microwave, good sized fridge and stove. We walked from the main train terminal which was only 10-15 min walk. This was a wonderful location - great studio apartment within walking distance of the railway station and all the amenities of the town, with varied routes to try (quiet footpaths or busier roads), but also close to the bus routes.Branka and Hans Ulrich were great hosts - Branka was in touch with us before the visit to set up our transport pass and give us details of how to find the property (Grubweg is a rather complicated street!). She was very welcoming and gave us a lot of help to get oriented and provided great advice on where to find the best routes into and out of town.The apartment had everything you could hope for, inside and out (the weather was wonderful and the outside table and chairs, although in evening shadow, were perfect for sitting and relaxing after a day at the conference we were attending). Our hosts had equipped the place with everything you could need, including the basics for teas/coffees etc until we could get to the shops. The really comfortable bed was a bonus!I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to anyone looking for accommodation in Spiez.

Had an amazing stay at Spiez. Hans and Branka are lovely hosts and welcomed us to their home. The room is neat and clean and amazing. Just 15 mins walk from station. Spiez is a beautiful city.

Wonderful stay, beautiful area & scenery. Property itself was faultless. Clear directions provided from station. Hosts themselves were extremely accommodating and let us store our luggage in the studio very late on our check-out day.

Easy to get the bus into town and trains. Spiez was perfect as a travel hub for the region. Large bathroom, nice kitchen, comfortable bed. Perfect

The house is clean and peaceful and provided the basic needs on our stay. It has vegetables and herbs garden nearby which is so neat. It’s just the parking, it is a little difficult to backup and turn but has the space to do it. The area has its beauty charm, and also near the train station of Spiez and the near lake of Spiez. Branka and Hans are gracious hosts, they helped us on tips how to get around and tell us about stores in the area. The locations is convenient to drive around Bern, Lake Thun, , Interlaken and other nearby places.

Overall great accessibility. Only about 10-15 minute walk to Spiez station which gives access to Interlaken, Thun or Bern within an hour. Highly recommend

Our stay exceeded expectations with both the property and our hosts, Branka and Hans. We were a short distance from the rail station and the accommodations were clean, comfortable, and complete. Communication, check-in and check-out were easy and appreciated the warm hospitality and conversation. Highly recommend!

Great, well equipped apartment. Washing machine was much appreciated after travelling for a while. Kitchen has everything you need. Beautiful location. A fan would be a really great addition as the only way to get airflow is with windows open and mosquitos come in at night time.

We loved the property and the friendly hosts. The property is little off to travel with big luggage. But host helped us in pickup and drop-off at no charge. This was a very kind gesture by hosts and we are grateful. We requested a electric kettle and host provided it the next day. We got good tips by host. The place is perfect to stroll to lake and have some good food at lakeside restaurants even a little late then normal closing time all over. We definitely recommend to our friends.

My wife and I stayed here amongst many other places on our honeymoon. And I can confidently say that out of 10 stays on our honeymoon, this Studio in Spiez was our favorite! Incredible views, welcoming friendly hosts, peaceful location, and great amenities including a kitchen, laundry, and dining area. We could easily walk to everywhere we wanted to go but didn’t get stuck in the tourist traps of other nearby towns. Our hosts were present with assistance whenever we needed it but we still had plenty of privacy. You will not regret your stay here!
