Great area! The 5 flights of steps were difficult but the location made up for that!

Simple but heartwarming. You can feel authentic mood in the center of cultural district. A good summer memory for me.

A great place! And the host was very welcoming and communicative. Our only quibbles are that we weren’t aware that there is no elevator, but there are many flights of stairs. Also there is no full length mirror which was a drawback during Fashion Week!

Made sure all was in order and gave helpful information about the area. And I enjoyed conversing with him. He is a 10 star host. I will definitely return. Could not have had a better experience.

The location is wonderful and super easy to find. Coffee ready to make was great and communication with the hosts is great. There are a LOT of stairs. If you have suitcases and don't love stairs, today be rough but everything else was fantastic.

Perfect location- very quiet and secure, but close to everything. Comfortable space with all the necessities provided. Host was exceptionally helpful and informative. Highly recommend!

The location was fantastic, between the islands in the Seine and the upper Marais. All within walking distance and such beautiful walking!!! The manager was a joy to work with. He was there personally to show me around the apartment. I loved the view into the courtyards and the church bells. Amenities were perfect. This is a GREAT place from which to explore the real Paris.

If you’re looking for a quiet place for 1 or 2, with all you need for sleeping and making a quick breakfast before sightseeing around Paris for the day, this is the place! Wonderful old building, as described, allowed an early check in for me, and the location was perfect. A fan would have been nice for the heat, but I survived with the windows open. The top floor location is very quiet with the courtyard facing window. I only heard people coming up the stairs occasionally, but otherwise was able to get great sleep despite being in the busy Marais district.

A very atmospheric studio at the top of a very old le Marais building in a quiet but very central location. Highly recommended despite the 4 flights of stairs.

Small studio in great area, in historic building. Clean and adequately stocked.Pleasant and helpful owner. Situated up four flights of stairs. Window overlooking courtyard, lovely wooded beams. Perfect for 2.

It was a calm neighbourhood and close to everything we needed. Nice small shops and cafés with walking distance to i. e. Notre Dame. The apartment was as promised and check in was easy. The belltower was a nice touch. We would book it again!

I stayed in the studio with my niece for 1 week in April. It was a perfect location; the studio was well equipped and clean. Jean-Marie was very helpful and responsive.

Nice, small, budget-friendly stay in central Paris, within walking distance to the sights and Metro stations. Very clean. My daughter and I stayed here to explore Paris for our first time and enjoyed the excellant location. Wonderfully quiet for resting after a long day of exploring.

As it was me and my partners first time in Paris. This was the perfect stay, it gave you the feel of living in Paris within a perfect area. Everything was close or just a train ride away.

The location was perfect for our walking and metro tours of Paris with many great bars and restaurants nearby. Everything was clean and working well. The window opens to the block's interior, meaning it is quiet day and night. Just be mindful of the 95 steps to get to the room on what we would call in the US the 5th floor.

Amazing location! It was my first time in Paris and solo trip and location could not have been better! I walked pretty much everywhere I needed to. Ubers were super cheap cause everything is close to the location. Metro easy too. Surrounded by shops, restaurants and bars. Very very safe. Apartment was nice, true description in the page. Saved it in my google maps as I will be staying there if I visit again.
