Easy check in, the room was the perfect size for our family. I love that you can walk to the beach, and its has plenty of shopping and restaurants within a short drive. We will definitely be back.

Clean, had everything we needed, however bring your own coffee grounds and water.

The room was good for what we needed. It was clean inside. The pool and beach are right there. Since we are not from the area, it would have been nice to know that the location is sort of right in the middle (about 5 miles each way) of two nice areas to visit, shop and dine. We didn’t have an opportunity to explore too much because we only had one full day and it poured for half of it.

We had to pay an additional $25 for parking which wasn't a huge deal. The room was okay, nothing over the top. The issue I had came in after I departed the condo. I was told that I wasn't getting my full deposit back due to a toilet paper holder that was damaged beyond repair. I asked for pictures that were provided by the cleaning crew. The broken toilet paper holder had a roll of toilet paper on it when I left. The cleaning crew had clearly been working not only around the holder to put a trash bag in the trash can below it, but they also removed the roll of toilet paper that was left on there. Had we done anything to it, I wouldn't have a problem, but being shorted $50 of my deposit for something that isn't my fault is ridiculous. The owner showed zero regard for anything I had to say about the situation and stopped responding. I will not return.

We had a great time at the Gulf! Super location. Studio kitchen was packed with everything you need to stay! Perfect for our family. Very quiet, but still close to shopping and yummy food!

We had an amazing time here! It was perfect for a quick mother-daughter trip. The condo is a little dated but very clean, quiet, and the location is great. Beach view is as advertised. We would definitely stay here again! :)

Had a wonderful stay at sugar beach condominiums! We got in later than anticipated, but check in was super easy with keyless access to the condo. Plenty of parking in the garage below! The studio was the perfect size for just my husband and myself. Definitely recommend if you’re wanting something with more amenities than a hotel but can’t justify a whole house for only two people! I never expect to have a comfortable bed when I’m away from home, but this bed was even comfier than my own! Access to the beach was close and convenient and even with the condo not necessarily having a “beach front” view, the view was still great! Also the location was wonderful with many stores, restaurants, and activities nearby. Not many sidewalks in the area though, so a car is definitely needed if you’re wanting to go out. Communicating with the host was pleasant. He’s very courteous and quick to respond!

This was a first for us since 2013, it was a short weekend but the condo was perfect for us. Idk how well it would sleep more than that, its like a studio apartment. Very clean, kitchen fully stocked & a door code, not key which made entry easy. The bed was so comforting & relaxing bc it was so soft. We enjoyed, and will be back. Thanks Tom!!

Everything was great. You might want to get a quieter dehumidifier.

Nice unit for a couple of people. All appliances in good working order. Dehumidifier could be placed in another area as it's at the head of the bed and runs most of the day/night to keep the humidity at a reasonable level. Could use a couple of small bedside tables.

We had the best weekend at this comfortable, clean and cozy condominium. It had a beautiful beach view from the side deck and steps from the beach. Also, the host Tom was very courteous and responsive.

We had a wonderful stay. The condo was clean with all new appliances and was decorated very nicely. The bed was super comfy with nice linens. We hated to leave!

This was a great little studio with a very short walk to the beach. Just enough room for us.

The property is a bit older so while the amenities aren’t the best, the unit itself was fantastic! Super clean and located in a more private location. Check in was super simple and there’s plenty of dishes to use if needed. Kitchen and bathroom were stocked and clean. The washer and dryer combo is a huge plus at the beach!

The room was extremely clean and comfortable. The only thing that I would complain about was paying 35 dollars for our single parking pass. But having to drive around the parking lot for 40 minutes on Thursday, June 26 just to find a place to park. We can’t complain about a lot at all though. The room was just as advertised. Extremely clean and cozy.

This condo was very cute and perfect for a couple to stay in. The kitchen was well equipped with what we needed for two people. The bed was comfy and the couch was spacious and comfortable too. The condo came with the couch as an extra bed and then a rolling bed that would be ok for a child to sleep on. My only complaints are that the oven did not work and the owner of the condo did not let us know this before our stay. There was a small toaster oven we could have used if needed though. Thankfully we didn’t need to use the oven. Owner did tell us that he was replacing the oven/stove after our stay. The view from the balcony was good but because of the sun coming in it was too hot to sit outside in the morning. I would suggest to the owner to get some kind of blind to half shade the balcony where the chairs sit so it’s not so miserably hot. All in all we would stay here again because it was the perfect size and perfect for a couple getaway!

Condo was decent but not great. I guess you get what you pay for. There was a lot of loud renovations going on that we were not warned of ahead of time. Once returning we received an additional charge for “discolored towels” according to the owner. He accused us of putting bleach on them. I do not travel with it a jug of bleach with me. My guess would be to check with the cleaning company but instead he gave was a vague description & charged my card. 0/10 on communication. I have rented with VRBO for YEARS and never had this happen. Would not stay again..

Overall great stay. The property is very clean, great location, and easy access to the beach. The check in process was smooth. If you are looking for a nice property in between gulf shores and Flora-Bama this is the place.

Loved the condo! Clean, great amenities like washer/dryer, dehumidifier, dish washer, and a comfy memory foam mattress. Tom did a great job communicating. About the building itself, the concession stand seemed very popular, pools and pool decks clean, and not overrun with tourists during spring break. It’s near Gulf state park and it’s trails, as well as a delicious coffee spot (inside the hotel across the street). A major downside was that while we were there, there was lots of construction going on. There were people going up and down directly next to our balcony starting at 10am everyday :/. This means our ocean view was blocked. We were not informed of this upon booking or arrival. Also, parking is 35 (one time fee).

Nice place, could be a little cleaner!

The studio was small but, plenty big enough for me and my wife. It was clean and close to everything. Even though it rained two of the three days we were there it was very relaxing and quiet. The beach was beautiful. I would stay again.

This condo was exactly what my husband and I were looking for! It was small and cozy, but also extremely comfortable. It was right off the elevator and easy to get to. We left our chairs on the beach and made our way down there several times a day. The bed was also super comfortable! The highlight for us was that we could literally walk barefoot to the beach from the condo.

This condo is cute, clean and perfect for 2 or 3 adults. The host has an entire binder with local information and even menus from several restaurants. We found this helpful when trying to decide where to have dinner. Would highly recommend this unit!

Absolutely perfect location for a week stay on the beach. Very short walk and you are right on the beach. The condo is also very quiet. Can not hear neighbors at all. The condo itself was lackluster. There are no beach supplies, so plan to bring your own or buy them. Very minimal supplies in general in the condo. The bedding is comparable to a hospital bed quality. Expected better quality, but we were able to greatly enjoy our stay due to direct beach access.

Owner was easy to get in contact with and everything else was very well!
