Studio #2 Fully-equipped with Boardwalk Patio Access - Oceanfront! Pet-Friendly!

Staying just steps from the beach and enjoying the sunset from our patio was truly the highlight of our vacation! The room was exactly what we needed—simple, comfortable, and perfect for two. Couldn’t have asked for a better spot!

Brant was very easy to get a hold of when we had questions and was a super host! The property was stocked with everything that we needed and much more. There’s a lot of thought that goes into the property setup for the guests that we appreciated such as the small vacuum and broom for our use and small buckets of water at each entry to help keep the sand out the rooms! The room was very cozy, the patio was amazing and the fire pit was perfect for the chilly nights. The location is fantastic, everything needed such as restaurants and grocery stores are near by and the ocean views are phenomenal!

Nice studio for two. Nice biking and walking areas. Proximity to the beach was perfect. Water temp was 58○F but nice to look at. Homeless people everywhere unfortunately. No easy answers. We felt pretty safe during the day. Thanks Brent for allowing us to stay with you. Cheers Steve and Pauline.

We were never able to stay there. The host canceled our reservation. We had to scramble to get another reservation.

We enjoyed ourselves for the night at this studio, definitely would book again. Parking was easy which is great, the studio is on the second floor (so keep that in mind for packing etc.) We’re a family of 3, myself, my husband and a 4yo toddler. The bed didn’t seem like a queen but we all fit, nice and snug. The owner included a cot which was great, I ended up moving to the cot and it was pretty comfortable. Love that there was a little kitchen, even though we didn’t cook. The bathroom is a bit small but worked for the night. The owner included, a boogie board, beach chairs and umbrellas. It was within walking discount to the boardwalk which was awesome! Steps away from the beach. The owner communicate very well on how to access parking, and opening the doors. Only thing I didn’t catch was that the patio facing the beach was a shared patio. Dave and Abby (his dog) were super friendly and hanging out on the patio which was just a bit of a shock to us only cause we didn’t realize it was shared. He was super friendly and allowed us to have it to ourselves when we arrived. Overall great place, cozy is how I’d describe it (could be a bit upgraded). I also wish there was a couch instead of patio chairs inside, it definitely could fit! I would book again but couldn’t do more than a weekend, a bit too small for longer stays!

The beach house has a great location with some small convenience stores if you need anything and it’s all walking distance. The things that we found disappointing was the lack of care to the property. The floors were worn out and with many stains. The roof above the shower was leaking so when we showered we were getting cold drips of water from above. There was plenty of coffee but no coffee filters or creamer. The light outside the property kept flickering on and off. The apartment felt a bit plain and dirty and the front door to get in was kinda tricky having to hold it in the right spot for it to work. We liked the apt and would visit again if things were to improve. It just didn’t seem worth it for the price.

We loved sitting in the studio beach area, so peaceful listening to the ocean and enjoying the view.

Yes...the stay was pleasant...despite weather and holiday...there was plenty to do...unit was as described...surprisingly fairly quiet for being near an alley. Ocean sounds were amazing to listen to at night..stayed warm throughout the stay.

Great location. Very cozy room with all the needed amenities. Mattress is a bit soft.

I had to go outside to view the beach and go a real short distance, it was great.

The pictures show an ocean front deck right on the boardwalk. There was nothing there letting you know that the actual unit has NO ocean view and is up a flight of stairs with no handrail. To get to the ocean view deck you have to go down the stairs and arourd the back of another unit. I am 83 and partially disabled and getting up and down the stairs was so hard I did not really enjoy the deck all that much especially when I realized that I shared it with couple and their large dog who wanted to be friendly with me (I am allergic). They did have a huge TV screen but with limited programming. I did not come to watch TV - I wanted to just watch and hear the ocean. I was very unhappy. It tool a lot of work to get their including assistance getting ob and off the pane and wheelchair service in the airport. Very sad...

We liked the property. We thought the price was very reasonable. Our only complaint was that the WiFi stopped working on our fourth day. Also the toilet paper problem should really be resolved. We ran out of your partially used, tiny rolls.

I’d stay here again. Property manager was a good communicator. Loved the location. Bed was sooo soft and comfortable

Very relaxing. Room, especially the king sized bed! Wonderful rest with the sound of the ocean in the background.Nice fully equipped kitchen too!

We love this place and we met some great new friends who stayed in the other studio.

We love the studio unit. It has all the essentials that we would need and more (like boogie boards, lawn chairs, beach towels, coffee & creamer, etc). The location is ideal. We appreciate having a dedicated parking space so we don't have to drive around looking for parking. Brant is a super responsive host. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to make it an annual visit.

The Unit is behind the main house and upstairs. The patio use reserved for the studios is on the east side of the patio. We used it every morning and loved watching the ocean/beach and passersby with our morning coffee. The location is fantastic. About 8min walk south on Ocean Front Walk to the Mission Beach Rollercoaster, FIT gym and tons if restaurants and nightlife. A 15min walk or so north brings you up to Pacific Beach and Crystal Pier with tons of restaurants and nightlife. Check in is very easy and straightforward. Brant the host is super kind and will address any issue immediately. Super responsive too. Best value for your money in the area. We plan to return. .
