The location of this property is awesome! Everything is within walking distance. The communication was less than desirable though. Full disclosure…we had booked this rental 22 hours prior. But after the initial text/email confirmation we never received any further information including building access/parking availability/etc. We had 2 unanswered messages from the host multiple hours prior to check-in. It was quite frustrating trying to get ahold of someone while trying to explore the city… and this was after our check-in time had come and gone. I had held out hope up until that point hoping they were going to notify us at our appointed check-in time to no avail. The house itself was ok…not the most comfortable. The couch/Murphy bed was hard as a rock. The air mattress didn’t hold air.

My family rented this from Friday-Sunday, February 24-26th. As a renter I have never left a review of a property, however, I feel that future renters should know prior to booking. I would ONLY give this rental a 1 star review, and ONLY for its location! The apartment is not the cleanest, showers (mold)/bathrooms, baseboards/bathroom doors/doors-have built up dust/dirt). This rental needs a good deep cleaning! Sleeping arrangements-it does NOT sleep 6 adults. The air mattress provided had a hole in it, the others were thrown on the floor, dirty, next to an empty bin. Futon/sofa bed, sleeps 1...was the 6th individual supposed to be the third party to the King size bed?! That is what my family ended up doing! Bathroom with King size bed, the door opens into the toilet, leaving renter a VERY small opening (approx.16-18 inches) to access shower. You will need to be a thin individual to utilize the shower in that room. The only TV that we were able to access was in the general area, as the others would not connect to internet. As a renter, I would not rent nor recommend this property. My family paid (I am not allowed to say) for 2 nights and I feel that the things included in this review should be standard and expected from the Tenant, we should NOT have to contact anyone during our short stay and address items listed!

The property was perfectly situated in the city. Close to everything but far enough to be quiet at night. Both rooms were big with comfortable beds. Morning coffee and nightcaps on the balcony were nice too. It was not an issue for us, but know that if stairs are a problem, there are a couple flights to navigate to get to the entrance to the property. Plenty of towels, kitchen supplies, pillows and blankets. Would recommend.

We couldn't have asked for a better experience at the Historic Dickerson House in Savannah. From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how beautifully decorated and comfortable the home was. The two bedrooms were spacious, and the entire house had everything we needed for our two-night stay. My husband and I, along with another couple, found the space to be just what we needed. The location was absolutely ideal—not only was it beautiful, and close to all the action but it was also incredibly convenient with a parking deck nearby. The hosts were amazing; they were very responsive and their suggestions for things to do around the city were spot-on. We truly loved our stay and would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a memorable Savannah trip. I would definitely rent this property again the next time I am in Savannah.

We loved this place. The apartment is beautiful and spacious. The location is perfect for walking all over Savannah. We parked in the garage across the square and didn’t take the car out until we were leaving.

We picked this because of the location and it fit our needs perfectly. We wanted to be close by to the waterfront and shopping and in walking distance to restaurants. The unit is spacious with high ceilings and is located on a nice square full of history. We had good luck with parking also.

We had a wonderful time exploring Savannah and visiting with family during the Thanksgiving holidays. Our VRBO was conveniently located to restaurants and in walking distance to sites in the historic district. We would 100% stay again.

We loved being in historic Savannah. We could walk to about anything we wanted to see. Lot of great restaurants one or two blocks away. What a great host, generous, helpful proactive and made a point to check in a few times to make sure we are comfortable. I highly recommend this host and property! Mark S.

This property was perfect for two couples - two large bedrooms with en suite bathrooms plus a really spacious common area. Communication with the host was also fantastic, and the location is great - close to Broughton Street and a lot of landmarks but far enough away from the main drag to be nice and quiet. The balcony overlooking the square is a really neat touch. Our only recommendations are a bit more of a thorough cleaning in the bathrooms and an upgrade to the provided shampoo/conditioner/body wash included in the listing. Our unit had a watered-down shampoo and two conditioners but no body wash. It’s a small detail but one we definitely would have noticed!

Very nice location towards the center of Savannah. It makes for a very good walkable vacation. Just be aware, this location is on the 3rd floor via stairs. Also, master bathroom's shower can be a tight fit to enter if you are a little overweight. Both of these were fine for our group, but won't meet everyone's needs. We would stay here again.

Great location for exploring Savannah. Parking was a little stressful getting in after dark and in the rain. Found a garage close by.
