The unit we rented became unavailable at the last minute...quite literally we found out about it only hours before arriving by train. The unit we rented had some plumbing problems. We were placed at the last minute in a different unit that was very well located. It was clean, quiet and quite large. The owner was very pleasant and otherwise quite accommodating. We had been travelling for some time before arriving and were in need of some clean clothes. We were given permission to use the built in washing machine in the kitchen. It failed and flooded the kitchen keeping our clothes hostage for nearly 48 hrs before we could open up the machine and reclaim the clothes. By now the clothes were rather musty and needed to air dry, they were not amenable to use during this trip after that. There were plumbing issues in the kitchen and shower where water did not drain...a plumber fixed this halfway through the stay. There were no kitchen towels or cloths made available and the dishwasher we feared using (for obvious reasons). As such we really could not use the kitchen at all. We had only 1 bath towel each (2 towels total) for the entire 5 night stay (no fresh ones and no washer to clean the ones we were given). No face cloths or hand towels. After asking we were denied any fresh ones. The ones we had were quite musty by the end of our stay. Having said all that the unit was well located and otherwise quite acceptable. I am not able to provide details on what would have been if we had the other unit originally rented. Perhaps the lack of towels etc...were based on the last minute change only. The broken washer was as much a surprise to the owner and he did respond fast when the flooding started and had a plumber there quite fast. I accidentally broke a window with my forehead (did not notice it was closed). The owner repaired the glass at no charge to us. Perhaps it was considered fair compensation for the broken washer and the flooding. No explanation for not charging us for the broken glass was given. On balance, we would rent again from this owner but would in advance clarify towels etc...and what would happen if a last minute change in unit were to occur. Given the very short notice and the payment we made up front for the entire stay we really had no choice but to stay in the substituted unit.

Just returned to Chicago from Rome and stayed 2 days in Guiseppe's apartment. He met us at 1030am and allowed us to keep our bags in the apartment while the cleaning lady cleaned which was much appreciated. This apartment is a full two bedrooms plus small kitchen, bathroom, and living area with a pull out couch. The apartment was very clean. It was safe and secure with multiple locks on doors. Kitchen had supplies. Apartment had excellent air conditioners in each room, surprisingly quiet (the ACs). The best thing about the apartment is the location, it is literally two blocks from the pantheon. All sites are within walking distance. It is loud outside but actually I fell asleep to live instrumental music outside my window. There is a lot of conversation outside, the high quality windows cuts down on this somewhat, but it is inevitable and the price you pay for the unbeatable location. My wife and four children slept comfortably. (six total). Excellent apartment, excellent host. Thank you Guiseppe.

The location of this apartment is in a small road, only 2 min walk to Pantheon, 5 min walk to Piazza Navona. Easy to find food, since there are plenty off restaurant /cafe in the area. There are also a lot of small shops if you want to buy cheap italian stuff or if you aim for international brand such as Bottega Venetta, LV, walking to Piazza Lorenzo or via condotti is just 10 - 15 min. The apartment has 2 big bedrooms, 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 1 bathroom. Big enough to accommodate 4 /5 people. The problem is the elevator is a bit small
