It’s beautiful, clean, tastefully furnished and well appointed. A very private oasis.
This rental is just as beautiful as the pictures display. Located on a quiet dead end road, located on the water, makes this a serene stay. The beach theme is perfect. Clean and includes much of what you may need - dishes, coffee maker, tea, linens, towels, and washcloths. The balcony was a favorite for my girls and me, a place for us to relax at the end of the day and to sip coffee in the mornings. Kayaks are available for use on the bay (did not use, but a nice option). Any messages sent to the owners were promptly answered. Check in and check out procedures were clear and easy. Cannot say enough good things! Would definitely stay here again!
This property was okay for us but we will not stay again. We did not read clearly that the only entrance was a spiral staircase. As older people, this was not a good fit. There was plenty of room, good amenities and great welcome snacks and chardonnay. The unit was 84 degrees when we arrived and we struggled to get it to cool down or not feel damp our entire stay. Maybe that is just Seattle area for you! The waterfront view was stunning each morning. Very beautiful. The main drawback of this space was the amount of construction, road repair, early morning noise from landscaping and cleaning. It wasn't a quiet location. Overall, this was a good place but not great for us.
This sweet studio was perfect for our family of 3. We were also excited to bring along our doggo too! Loved the back patio as it was spacious and a relaxing area to hang. We appreciated all of the accommodations provided and had a lovely time!
Overall the property was great. We were disappointed to learn that the entire property was rental and that we would have to compete with amenities listed as reserved for us, like the firepit and lower deck. There was a large party at the main house and there were upset with us for using space we were told was exclusively reserved for the beach house. It honestly felt like we were the low man on the totem pole, fighting for space.
lovely location and lovely accommodation.
This place is great. Proximity to Gig Harbor / Tacoma is excellent with the downtowns of each being roughly a 10 minute drive away. The neighborhood this place is in is great too, as you are a 30 second walk away from the water. As a family of four with a 6 and a 9 year old kid, we really liked this place. Of note: the unit itself is accessed via a spiral staircase. If you have super small kids who are just learning to walk or you are much older or you just don't like stairs, then I would say this place is likely not a great fit. Besides that, we would highly recommend it!
We were impressed with almost everything, from start to finish. We were greeted by the staff with a friendly and professional attitude. Upon entering the room (studio) we found the atmosphere to be warm and welcoming; classy (except the walls need a paint touch-up) yet relaxing, with jazz music and soft candles. The beds and chairs/couches were comfy; plenty of space for us to cuddle up or spread out. We appreciated to treats and bottle of wine that awaited us. The little kitchen area was fine for us in the food preparation we did . The weird little corkscrew came apart when I 'used it, so jury-rigged a solution (needs replacing?). At night it was quiet, with fairly easy access to the waterfront (could use a tidying up- a lot of stuff just laying around at the entrance to the main house an the front terrace). Beautiful views- a peaceful place to sit and let the grand daughter throw rocks to her heart's content. The trip to Gig Harbor is easy (their directions were good). It was a great jumping off place, opnce we had eplored historic downtown, for a day trip to Poulsbo. We reaally felt like we had a get-away!. Thanks
Very cozy and comfortable. Great quiet location. Downtown Gig Harbor was 10 minutes away, awesome number of great shops and restaurants. Studio has plenty of hand soap, toilet paper, dishes, and paper towels that we did not have to go purchase.
Overall a peaceful and relaxing stay.
Our family enjoyed our time at this home so much. The beach area was beautiful and the kids loved kayaking and playing on the huge slide!
