Spacious modern apartment with large terrace and private pool, long & short lets

The apartment was good and spacious, had everything we needed. Sun all afternoon on the terrace. Although we used our bikes to go to the beach and restaurants, they were both easily in walking distance. We also used our car to go to the big supermarkets which were only 10-15 minutes away. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We would like to stay there again.

A useful, residential location for us with safe underground parking. Transport is needed as it’s on the edge of the urbanisations area and not close to shops/restaurants. Nice, private west facing terrace. Beach is a bit shingly. The apartment was clean and tidy on arrival. Note that bedding needs to be laundered/changed by guests on long stays. Had a few teething problems with key collection and heating but the Property manager and owner were very responsive with any issues. Satellite tv was not working - needed an update and there’s only a single power socket in the kitchen above the worktops. The Spanish extension lead was useful in the lounge for our gadgets - thanks. The rust on the side of the bath in the family bathroom looked unsightly but the owner says it’s going to be repaired.

Great month in this apartment, large rooms with the added bonus of two bathrooms and huge terrace with plunge pool. The sun is with you late into the evening to relax with a nice glass of wine on the terrace. The apartment is in a nice quiet location, we did not have a car and enjoyed the short walk to the local bars and cafes. There is also a bus stop nearby which takes you everywhere and very cheap. Will look at booking again in future. Les

we enjoyed it Donal was great and Paul the property maganer was fine, the property come with all mod cons so great, the time of year we went its hard to hire a car, the area has everything you could ever want if you are looking for a quite and relaxing place to stay, which we were. i gave the property 4 stars because you get what is states on the discreption but we mis callulated the distance (walking ) from everything.. the patio in this property is great and get the sun all afernoon until sun down, we can state no reasonable reason why you chould not give this property a try..

As we hadn't booked an apartment abroad before we didn't really have anything to compare this with but overall our stay was very enjoyable. We would like to provide details of the good and also the not so good points. Good Points - Very spacious apartment with good sized rooms. En-suite shower excellent and family bathroom serviceable but needs a bit of TLC. - Well equipped kitchen. - Plunge pool was lovely and the patio area was a real sun trap. Communal pool area also well maintained and very quiet which was a pleasant surprise compared to using a hotel. - Steel shutters and front door an excellent security feature. Bad Points - Television reception very poor and was reported early in the stay to CMS but no obvious action taken. Therefore no television for duration of our stay. - Two settees in the lounge very tired and need replacing. - Information folder needs updating as inaccurate. Despite the slightly negative points, and if the television was sorted, we would stay there again.

Great apartment with everything you need. Especially enjoyed the outdoor area and plunge pool for cooling off.

We passed a thoroughly enjoyable month in this spacious apartment located out on the south-western edge of the peaceful seaside resort of Roquetas de Mar, and overlooking a nature reserve of salt marshes offering pleasant walks down to a ruined lighthouse, with fine views northwards to the mountains and southwards over the Mediterranean. The apartment itself is comfortable, well appointed, and everything holidaymakers might wish for. Car-less, we relished the mile walk to the nearest facilities (a well-stocked supermarket and wide choice of bars and restaurants) whilst for longer journeys there are frequent buses from a stop five minutes walk from the apartment to Roquetas (charming fishing port, indoor market, retail park, aquarium and castle) and Almería, an historic city and ferry port for Africa just half an hour away. As for Roquetas de Mar itself, four generations of us have come under its old fashioned seaside resort spell, and will hopefully be doing so for many years to come.

Me and my wife had a fantastic fortnights holiday in Donal's apartment. From the moment we started communicating with Donal he was very professional in his responses. Answering any questions we had for him. For example airport transfers and late stay due to an evening flight. We even had a welcome pack on arrival. As for the apartment it is very spacious and immaculate throughout. The outside space is also an additional bonus including a plunge pool. The immediate area is very tranquil and if you enjoy alfresco dining and a glass of your favourite Vino this is for you. Regarding the location as most people have commented you are around a 15 minute walk into the main stretch of the town, There are a great selection of bars & restaurants to choose from and in my opinion good value for money. The promenade is also very nice. In addition there are some very good supermarkets to choose from my wife and I walked to Aldi and got a taxi back with an initial large shop which was excellent value also, My wife and I would definitely recommend the apartment, We will return next year

Our family enjoyed a week's holiday at this apartment we throughly enjoyed our stay. A very spacious apartment with a private pool to cool down in while enjoying the hot sun. The communal pool is 30 seconds away and was mainly quiet we didn't see more than 10 people there at a time. In the apartment the beds were comfy plenty of hot water and the place was clean, the pool was cleaned twice in the week we were there we did wash our bedding in the washing machine and there was spare there to change also. There is a free safe to use in the apartment for your valuables and the air-conditioning was nice and cold. The beach is about a 10 minute walk away featuring plenty of room and sun bed hire at 4 euro a day. Plenty of close by eateries and plenty of places just for a drink if required. Tapas was lovely and very reasonably priced, we can also recommend the Indian restaurant they gave us a good selection and again not too expensive. We probably spent 50 euro on a meal for 4 with drinks most nights if we had tapas then around 38 euro, these are good hearty meals and we all enjoyed the food. We shopped at aldi just down the road prices similar to back in the UK. All in all we had a great holiday in Roquetas De Mar and will be visiting again.

We had been coming on holiday to this area for the last 4 years but stayed in this apartment for the first time in July 2017. Wow! We often wondered how people could keep going to the same place year after year and now we know why. We had already found our perfect holiday destination and now we had found our perfect apartment too! It's spacious inside and out and the plunge pool is amazing! Highly recommend this place!
