Spacious & historic residence in downtown, a 15-min walk to most venues & events

This place seems nice from the pics but in person it is quite the opposite. - Trash everywhere outside - At night, there’s giant rats that live underground on the back patio (do not have access) which you can see running around. - Parking is not free. If parking outside the building it is $50/night/car. Or park 8min walk away which cost approx. $10/night/car. - At night the whole area turns into a giant party and cars parking inches from yours. - Cops are stationed outside at night, heavily armed. - Felt very unsafe during the my stay. - Very bad order on the outside. - Back deck is a view of the alley, not the front skyscrapers. I’m sure there are other things I’m missing but definitely, wouldn’t stay there again.

Ed was great! His communication was on point. We used the house for a bachelorette party. It was the perfect location and we loved that every bedroom was on the same floor. It was perfect!

The house had plenty of room for the 8 of us and the location is perfect for walking to the multiple sports stadiums, restaurants, and Greektown. Check-in is very easy and there's surface parking and garages nearby. I will definitely be coming back here for future stays in downtown Detroit

The Beaubien House was the perfect venue for our needs surrounding our son’s wedding at the St Peter and Paul Church and reception at The Highlands in the Marriott Renaissance Center. Ed was a pleasure to work with, being timely and receptive to our requests. The gathering spaces on the first and second floors, along with the bedroom spaces on the third floor were perfect. Overall an amazing space with history and functionality. Thank you Ed!

This property is in a perfect location and the owner does a great job at making you feel welcomed. This was out second stay and not out last.

We love this property, exactly as described. Just beautiful. All the extra touches make this home a wonderful stay- complimentary snacks and beverages, extra pillows and blankets available. It’s very clean and well maintained. Home away from home :)

Overall, very happy with our stay here. While the neighborhood itself was a little iffy (had a homeless man on our porch) the location is perfect for walking to Comerica or anywhere downtown. The house has plenty of space (2nd & 3rd floor) and stocked with plenty of snacks and beverages. Ed was very attentive and responded quickly to any questions we had.

The Beaubien house is a cool place to stay, walking distance to Greektown and the riverwalk, and to lots of bars and restaurants. Also walking distance to the people-mover that can get you all around Detroit. Area feels safe, though with a bit of a homeless-presence right outside. House is great and comfortable, not the luxury of a modern place with all en suite baths and King beds, if that's what you're looking for, but this place has more character. Lots of stairs if that's an issue (it wasn't for us).

Place was great. It was very clean and in a good location close to down town. Communication with the host was very prompt and helpful.

Great place very near to the heart of downtown Detroit. Plenty of space. Nice and clean. Comfy. Kids can have separate space to hang out. We really enjoyed the outdoor space as well. Will be back!

Incredible struggle to get proper receipt from host to seek reimbursement from employer. Huge time sink.

Well maintained and stocked with everything you need. Location is great for going to greektown (7min walk) or going to the Huntington event center and is really close to the people mover to have access throughout the city.

Great place to stay overlooking the river and walking distance to anything you want downtown. Far exceeded expectations.

Ed was very kind and helpful. His communication is great. The location is amazing. The only issue would be parking. There is a location were you can park in the garage but off the street parking is metered. Otherwise the house is clean with lots of space for a group stay. The check-in process is simple. Ed is very clear about expectations. I would book this location again.

This is a clean and convenient multi-story BRBO with a super responsive owner manager

We had our Annual Conference at the Huntington Place and looked for a place close by that could accommodate our staff and provide a space to hang out and gather that was not a hotel room. This place was perfect for that. It was a little far away from the center, but it was walkable and provided the perfect space to meet and hang out at night. We will plan to stay here again any time we return to this area.

Great rental. Very spacious and good amenities. Easy walk to downtown restaurants and bars. Check in process, communication and check out were easy.

I was pleasantly surprised on how modern this historic building was. I was a little nervous about being august and the AC not working in all areas of the house. Boy, was I wrong….it worked great. Location was key for us and I won’t stay anywhere else in the future, if I need to be downtown. Ed was great and very responsive.. recommend this place to anyone.

We came to town from Minnesota for 2 nights of Twins -Tigers baseball games. The place worked out great for us as it was a short walk to the stadium and public transportation. Everyone enjoyed the place and location. A bit noisy on the weekend but such is a downtown stay most anywhere.
