Spacious apartment with views of the sea, the mountains, Tropea and Stromboli

Really nice place with a stunning panorama view there you see the sunset and Stromboli volcano Carmelo and Maria was very helpful A car is a must to stay at this place

We had a wonderful stay at the Marasusa complex in Parghelia. We found the apartment a little ‘tired’ and under equipped - a small saucepan, garlic press, larger dinner plates and better cutlery knives would help. The towels provided were clean but seemed very old and the pillows should have had pillow protectors on them. Having said that it was a very reasonable price and the complex itself has the most wonderful gardens and pool area. Again the communal furniture dotted around the gardens is very old and needs replacing but Carmello and Maria were very hospitable and we would definitely stay at the complex again.

Good communication

Because of corona the swimmingpool was not open, we understand it but also miss it. The only thing we missed. For the next guests one of the two toilets must be fixed.

Basic but Well equipped apartment in a brilliant location. Only issues were that It was extremely hot whilst we stayed - Aircon only in one of the bedrooms and main double bed was very uncomfortable.

Booking was easy and hassle free. Email exhanges with Paul were prompt and helpful. The agent in Pizzo provided complete tips and directions and was pleasant and available. The appartment was as described, well equipped however a toaster and a microwave would be usefull. The property was clean, the beds comfortable. Beach umbrellas were available and we were glad to have them. The patio area was a pleasant place to have breakfast or enjoy the sunset over Stromboli. The resort was well maintained, the pool was amazing and everybody loved it. The kids also enjoyed the ping pong table. The American Bar down a very short way in Parghelia had affordable gelato, very good coffee and free wi-fi (none available at the appartment). Nearby you can also find roast chicken and delicious pizza. Tropea is a 10-15 minute ride away and is worth a visit to the Centro Storico or on market days. We couldn't get the TV to work, but we didn't spend much time on it because the pool and view are much more interesting! The grocery stores are a bit further down the road (e.g. The well-stocked Conad in Santa Domenica). Be aware of opening hours, stores are often closed the afternoon. Overall, a good quality/price value, well-maintained grounds and appartment, comfortable, enough room for 5. We recommend it.

The Marasusa village in Parghelia, near Tropea is wonderful. My family and I spent a fabulous week in a 3 bed apartment which had magnificent views from the terrace, of Stromboli. The apartment is spacious and very well equipped. The communal pool large and clean. Thank you Paul - we hope to return! :)
