Spacious and bright two bedroom two bath in the perfect location for relaxation!

Enjoyed the reclining chairs, beds were very comfortable Giant 75inch tv living room, several snacks were included. Kyaks were included if you want to go out on lemon bay,about every thing you could want included

The host got back to me pronto. We had an issue with hot water in bathroom, she had someone there right away the very next day! It’s a perfect upstairs unit for 2 couples. Very comfortable beds, with both bedrooms having desks if you need to work. Main living space with comfortable with a couch and comfy chairs. Loved Manasota Key. Very easy to get to the beaches. The shelling is great! The best I have seen in a long time.

Such a sweet place! I can’t wait to come back. Short walk to beach.. nice pool. We enjoyed it so much!

Close to several restaurants. Easy walk to the bay and to the beach. The condo had all things needed for the beach which was very nice!

This is my second time at this property and it was as wonderful as the first time. Lots of amenities already at the rental so go there first before buying beach items. There is wildlife everywhere around this property. We saw Osprey, Eagles, Dolphins, Manatees and every kind of bird you can imagine. Didn’t matter that the weather wasn’t the best during our stay. We had a great time. Beds are super comfortable and kitchen is fully stocked. Enjoy! Thanks for everything Marti!

We loved our stay. It was a super short walk to the bay and the beach. The condo was so nice and homey-everything was perfectly thought out. The pool area was nice to have as another option. We can’t wait to visit again! Marti was a fantastic hostess!

This property comes well stocked for anything and everything you can imagine. The kitchen is loaded and the free snacks and water were greatly appreciated. Beds are super comfy. There is also everything you need for the beach already there. The location is far enough away from all the traffic coming onto the key. The home is surrounded by nature despite Milton. A pair of Osprey’s are nesting 40 feet out the front door. It was wonderful. Manasota Key has significant damage in many places but no damage at this unit except some fallen trees. The beach access is perfect and the beach was better than the last time I was there in May. The host lives onsite and I loved that. They are wonderful people. I’ve already booked a return trip. We had an amazing stay at Gecko House! The second floor accommodations are everything you could ask for in a vacation home! Superb location and spotlessly clean, comfortable, and modern interior. The pictures do not do it justice! My family of four was able to spread out, relax, cook, and enjoy time together without feeling cramped. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need in addition to the basics - pots/pans/juicer/various coffee makers/etc. The open floor plan was very much appreciated. We loved that the “chef” each night was able to be a part of the action in the living room. The two extra large bedrooms (with insanely comfy king beds) are nicely situated on opposite sides of the living room. Marti and Rod are two of the nicest people you will ever meet. It is clear that they care about their guests and their home and want everyone to have a relaxing and worry-free experience! They promptly respond to any questions. They were right there to help us with the only tiny issue (grill not lighting) we encountered the entire week. Not only did they bring us a different grill to use (within 5 minutes!) they ended up purchasing another grill the next day. I sense that they frequently purchase new items for Gecko House. It is quite evident as everything works well and is beautifully updated. Without question the best place we have ever stayed in FL! We highly recommend and we look forward to returning! We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Marti and Rod's VRBO - Gecko House. The location was perfect, with access to both the key and bay, and included the use of kayaks and bikes. The apartment we had was super clean, spacious, and well set up with everything we needed. We loved having two bedrooms and baths for the nights we had guests. Beach chairs, umbrellas, etc., were all supplied and the pool and pool area were just lovely. Beach access to a spectacular beach was a short walk right across the street, and you couldn't have more wonderful and generous hosts. Highly recommend! We are planning on returning and are recommending Gecko House to family and friends. Such a wonderful experience in a truly lovely location. Also, parking is easy and right at your door, and other Gecko House guests were great to connect with as well.

I loved my stay at Gecko house! Great accommodations, loved the extra amenities (wagon, beach chairs).. Marti was a great host!!! I will return..
