Stayed May 15, 2026We booked the house several months ago for a graduation at UMKC. We had extended family and there was a room for everybody.! our first impression was very good. We walked in and the entrance smelled so good and so clean! All the rooms were very clean and beds and linens were done just like you see in hotels. There were plenty of towels for multiple showers.I have seen comments and the other postings about the upstairs attic bedroom. It is remodeled very nice and very spacious, but it is a very old house and the steps are steep and may be difficult to navigate for elderly people.The dining room and living room areas were very open and very accessible. The AC worked very well and the upstairs attic had its own unit.We thoroughly enjoyed this house! Thank you William you have done a fantastic job! I will add that the backyard is shared /connected to the house next door, so there is a possibility of renting both for a really big group!

Stayed Apr 30, 2026Our stay at this Vrbo property was absolutely wonderful! The host was incredibly responsive and accommodating from start to finish, which made the entire experience smooth and stress free. The home was spotless upon arrival, well maintained, and had more than enough room for everyone to relax comfortably. The beds were comfortable, and there were plenty of clean linens and extra touches throughout the home that made our stay even better. We especially loved spending time in the backyard playing cornhole and socializing together. It was the perfect setup for making great memories with family and friends. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable getaway.

Stayed Apr 17, 2026Great property for our stay in mid-April for a friend’s bachelorette weekend! We were a group of 12 and felt like we had plenty of space. The kitchen was fully stocked and had everything we needed for 3 family-style meals. It was very clean, conveniently located, and check-in/out was a breeze with proactive communication from the host. The backyard space with the Adirondack chairs was a great bonus for us. A few things we wish were different: none of the locks on the bathroom doors worked, the bed pillows were so thick and firm that several of us used couch pillows instead, and there wasn't door/curtain/divider to offer privacy to the bedroom with adjoining spaces. Overall, we would highly recommend this stay to anyone with a large group wanting to gather in KC !!

Stayed Nov 25, 2025The home was well stocked, nice beds and linens, towels. Bedrooms super nice. The lay out could be tough for some. Top floor very steep stairs and the second full bath is upstairs. Great coffee shop. Oddly perfect was fabulous. Close to the plaza and art museums. On Troost street which doesn't feel in a neighborhood but bedrooms all had fans to block out any noise. Overall loved our stay. Would recommend.

Stayed May 30, 2025We enjoyed our stay! The driveway can fit 3 cars comfortably, and the backyard is shared with the other Vrbo property. Getting in was a little tricky but once you master the quirks of the door lock you shouldn’t have problems. The living room could use an additional love seat, this is a large house and can accommodate many guests. It would have been nice to have an additional comfortable seat or two for the living room space. The first floor half bath is tiny, but good! The 2nd level is perfect except the back bedroom could use a ceiling fan or its own AC unit as it’s hard for airflow to get back there to cool it. The 3rd floor is beautiful but needs mountain climbing gear to get up there! No, I’m joking, but the stairs steep. Thank you for a wonderful stay! We will be back.

Stayed May 23, 2025Very clean and well organized, excellent communication with host. Bathrooms and kitchen great, clean and neat the neighborhood is up and coming - craftsmen homes beautifully renovated and some a little run down. Very close to city ! Great coffee shop up the street.

Stayed Dec 6, 2024The home was clean and spacious, kitchen and bathrooms were stocked with glassware, toilet tissue, etc. Stairs to top floor are very steep. The property is not within walking distance to CCP as stated in the ad, and the neighborhood is less than desirable.

Stayed Nov 3, 2024Great sleeping accommodations, clean house and spacious back yard. Not too far from some great restaurants and conveniently close to the stadium where you can avoid a lot of traffic. Owner is very responsive and had great communication.

Stayed Oct 24, 2024The house itself was very clean, very spacious, very stocked & everything easy check in! Everything with house was great! The back yard was not private, you share it with the neighbor house which wasn’t comforting. The neighbor was an VRBO as well and there was tons of fighting and cops had to be called. The host owns both houses for VRBO. The owner/host said the drive way was ours for parking but the neighbor trapped our cars in & the owner asked us to go over and ask them to move car while we were very uncomfortable doing so. Will not be staying again for young females/bachelorette due to neighbor hood

Stayed Sep 20, 2024It was a very comfortable stay! There was enough room for all of us and everything was set up very well. I would suggest adding that the king bed is on the 3rd floor with very very steep stairs. Communication with the owner was always prompt and very clear. All the bedding was clean and very comfortable. It was a total of 13 people that stayed at the house, including 5 children, and we never felt cramped. Would definitely recommend for larger groups.its also within walking distance of the KC Forehouse which is where my BIL got married. Thank you for your hospitality!!
