Relax after a full day of adventuring at the Blue Heron Inn! This spacious one bedroom has everything you need for a short or long term stay. Located in a small 5 unit complex, The Blue Heron is our `homiest` unit and guarantees a relaxing and comfortable stay.

The Blue Heron sits within a small 5 unit complex and supplies all the comforts of home! Our space is pretty central to the Sarasota / Bradenton area and you can be at the beach or downtown in 20 mins.

Everything inside the unit is private and for your use only - all outdoor spaces are shared which include our front yard area and back yard.

We love socializing with our guests! You may see us on site and we will be sure to say hi to you! If you`d like any info on the area - ask away! We live for traveling and exploring new areas - we want you to have the best time here :)

A quiet and extremely safe neighborhood. We have a small shopping plaza just across the street with some stores and restaurants.

The best way to explore from our home is by renting a car. Typical Uber rides will cost between $25 - $30 to get to the beaches.

The Blue Heron does sit within a very small 5 unit complex. You will see other guests on site, however each unit really has its own private spaces so you`ll really only see people in the shared parking area

Please note the check in time is 5pm, however I will always send the check in as soon as the home is ready. Most times, I am able to send the check in around 3pm however It is never a guarantee. We will always try our best to get you in as early as possible.

Friendly Reminders Before Your Stay:

Third-Party Bookings:
If you’re booking on behalf of someone else, please let us know in advance. We’ll need their full name, phone number, and a valid photo ID before approval. While your own Airbnb account is verified, a third-party guest is not—so this extra step ensures safety and compliance for everyone. Many hosts do not allow third-party bookings, but we’re happy to accommodate them with proper verification.

Damages & Responsibility:
Please treat the home with care during your stay. The booking guest is responsible for any damages, late checkouts, or additional cleaning required.
This includes plumbing issues caused by flushing foreign objects, excessive toilet paper, or baby wipes. If a plumber is needed to remove a clog or restore service, the cost of that visit will be billed to you as damage reimbursement.

Pets:
We love hosting furry friends! Please let us know before arrival so we can include the pet fee(s), which covers the extra cleaning care they require.

The fee is per pet—if you’re bringing more than one, we’ll manually request the additional fee after your booking is confirmed.

If a pet arrives unannounced or undocumented, a $300 fee will automatically apply after check-in.

Cancellations:
This reservation is non-refundable. We recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your plans in case something unexpected comes up.

Smoking:
The home is non-smoking indoors. Smoking is welcome outside only—please use designated areas and dispose of butts responsibly. A minimum $500 fee applies for indoor smoke remediation.

Extended Stays (29+ Days):
Stays over 29 days must be requested and approved in advance. We’ll require your photo ID, email address, and a signed lease agreement confirming your check-in and check-out dates.

No security deposit is required; however, there is a $365 private insurance cost that will be requested after booking.

Your reservation is not fully secure until the lease and ID are received.

    Fantastic stay, super responsive host when we had a question. Good location. We were local folks getting some time away from family in season so we know the area. Decent area- you gotta check out the local pizza and breakfast spot. The only knock to this review is that the property outside spaces are neglected. Not a problem for us, but if you’re looking to sit outside in the backyard, turn around and go back inside. Otherwise super clean, super cute, and there is a place to hang your clothes now!

    First the pros: The apartment is big enough and comfortable enough for two for a week-long stay in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. This was our first trip to Florida specifically for Spring Training, and LeCom Park is just down the road. Location was perfect for everything we wanted to do. We particularly liked the roomy shower and all of the appliances. We had a problem with the internet one night, and Kosta responded immediately to our concern. Checking both in & out was a breeze. Now the cons: The four window air conditioners are extremely LOUD! If you are a light sleeper (we are), you'll have a problem. This annoyance alone will prevent us from booking another stay here. Also, we were bombarded by mosquitos and little gnats INSIDE the apartment during our stay. There is no vent in the bathroom, so not sure if moisture buildup attracted & bred them, but they were pretty irritating. The place was generally clean (except for the windows which were very dirty & buggy), however it could use a fresh coat of paint to cover marks on the walls & especially the ceilings to brighten it up. The kitchen was not particularly well-stocked (especially in the condiment dept.), and there wasn't a single box of Kleenex provided. We were instructed to take off our shoes when inside, which is fine, but there should be a mat or shoe tray inside the front door on which to place them. So basically, we would have really liked the place if not for the major annoyances of the air conditioning & bugs.

    I am so appreciative to have found this place! It is very clean, comfortable, quiet, safe and I felt at home here. Kaity is amazing and communicated and checked in on me to make sure all was ok, my furbabies loved it as well plenty of room to run and play and look out the windows. I would definitely stay here again, it is convenient to everything and just want to say thank you for the kindness of everyone here. I ❤️ FL!!!

    This place was barely passable. Window A/C unit in bedroom is very loud, bed is not very comfortable, and kitchen was not well stocked. There is only a single lamp in the bedroom to provide light and there is not a single place in the entire unit to hang up clothes. I will say that the bathroom and shower were at least very clean.

    Bedroom and bathroom are separated by a walk through the apartment. Minimal dishes and cooking equipment. There was no place to hang clothes! A number of window air conditioners keep the space cool, but added to some extra noise. The shower was roomy and great. Communication with manager was excellent.

    This is a cute, simple one bedroom/ one bath apartment connected with other rentals. It was clean and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood but convenient to restaurants and other needs. Right across the street is a grassy lot and the sidewalk goes its full length and around the corner so it was a great spot to walk my little dog. I would stay again if I revisit the area.
