Southern sophistication at Ashley Ridge

The room was small but clean and good for what I needed. The air conditioner was inconsistent and hard to keep at temperature needed. It is a beautiful area with many shops and restaurants nearby. Everything was clean and stocked for needs.

Perfect for what I needed it for

Home owner was friendly. The vrbo consisted of a very small room with 2 twin beds and a bathroom area. It was also quite a drive to downtown Charleston. So overall we got what we paid for it just wasn't a good fit for us. But could be a good fit for others.

The room was very clean everything was as advertised. We would defiantly stay here again.

I stayed here for a couple of nights to visit Charleston; it was a great decision! The host was friendly and communicated well. The location was also ideal as it was quiet yet there were many places to go nearby if you needed to buy food or other necessities. I would come here again whenever I visit Charleston for sure!

Its great for Golf and if you have and old person at harmony.

My sister and I stayed here for 4 days. We spent most of our day at the beach and shopping around town. Our stay could not have been more perfect! Everything was very clean and well kept inside the room. The host Shawn was very kind and responsive to anything that we needed or had questions about. The bathroom was clean and tidy. It is a perfect place to stay for one or two people! Would consider staying her again in the future!

It is in a perfect location if you are seeing an elderly parent at Harmony, which less than .75 miles away. Summerville is close also. Downtown Charleston and the beaches are not really close. Nice golf course .2 miles away! Paul

The apartment was like anice mother-in-law suite . It was decorated very nicely.

This host does EVERYTHING to insure a great stay. Instructions posted on everything from the WiFi to the shower. Refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, plates, utensils even salt and pepper shakers and a first aid kit. Apartment located in beautiful home with private access through garage. Located within 10 minutes of Interstate. Close to many restaurants, shops and grocery stores. Very quiet and peaceful stay. Thank you Shawn for your attention to detail.

Host was congenial and unobtrusive. The property was in a nice quiet neighborhood and we found the rooms clean and tastefully decorated. We were looking for a clean, safe place to just get a good night's sleep and this was it. There is Roku TV and WiFi, not sure that was in the description. Very firm twin beds made for a restful sleep. Wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

The room and bathroom were very clean. Check-in process was very simple. Location was close to everyplace that we needed to go. Room was small as listed in other reviews- just something to be aware of when you book. The room size was not an issue for us as we were out and about a lot. Wi-fi worked well. Host was very nice.

This place is nice and clean and in a nice quiet neighborhood. I felt like I was a guest in someone’s house. The kitchen is in the closet.

Lovely accommodations. I was pleasantly surprised to find a microwave, refrigerator and iron. Safe neighborhood and there is a supermarket close by.

Perfect place to stay during our visit to Summerville/Charleston. Beautiful home with private access. 2 beds. Full bath, with the BEST water pressure I've ever had. Roku tv, fridge/freezer. Coffeemaker and a few coffee mugs for a great wake up. The beds were so comfortable too!!

It was a very good stay, very clean, safe neighborhood and quiet. If you are looking for a small space with the necessary amenities and separate bathroom, this is the ideal place. Consider that you have two single beds.

This was basically a hotel room within someone’s home. Safe, clean, affordable, and I had a wonderful time!

My sister and I were in Charleston for a concert. We needed just a place to get ready before and to sleep after. It was a quiet location. It was about 35 minutes to Charleston venue and the beds were comfortable.

This worked out perfectly for my sister and I. It was in a safe area and centrally located. Shawn was helpful in the check-in process.

I'm probably being extremely picky. The place was nice. Homeowner used some space off of his garage. Entered through his personal garage. I did t like that his belongings were not secured. I wouldn't take anything, but I just felt weird walking through someones garage. Everything was clean and as described. For the living quarters. A bit smaller than expected, but it served the purpose we needed, which was a nights sleep.

The unit was exactly as described. Shawn was very helpful and friendly from the moment we arrived to the moment we departed. The unit was very clean and well appointed!

It was a nice room and bathroom. It was just enough space for 1 or 2 people with a small fridge and microwave.

Quite neighborhood and convenient access to local in Summerville. Entrance to neat, small room through garage of the owner but I'm not really mind. Great place to stay for 2 adults during short stay in the area.

I traveled to see my mother for her 92 birthday and located this property to stay for the 3days. It was clean and quiet a bit tight quarters but the space was creatively and accomidatingly used.

Good place to stay if you need somewhere inexpensive.

large cockroach on ceiling of showersmelled of potalarm going off in owners quarters early AM, noone shut it off! you have to enter from garage, lock box is broken and key was not available.LEFT EARLY!!

This place is a bedroom and bathroom.If you want to go outside, you have to go through the garage. There is no place to sit outside on the property. The fridge , microwave , coffee maker is in a small closet. If you are looking for a place to sleep and shower, it is worth it for the price. The host was very nice

Everything was as described in the post. This was a weekend trip for my husband and I for our anniversary. We came to South Carolina for a 2 day concert. So much fun, great experience. It was nice to have a safe place to sleep at night. After leaving this mornings, I realized that I had left my something important behind and when I contacted our host he found it. I’m super appreciative that he is willing to mail it to me. Thank you!

The decor is very nice, but the entrance is through a junky garage. Only a small section of the house is accessible. Just the bedroom and bathroom. The rest is walled off with a pad lock on the sliding door. The advertised kitchen is a closet with a fridge and microwave in it. And the room and bathroom were not properly cleaned prior to my arrival. I had to clean up hair and visible dirt from the bathtub and sink. And the remote felt oily and greasy as if it hadn't been wiped down in a while. So be prepared to clean up the space yourself upon arrival.
