Stayed Oct 7, 2024Lovely apartment, spacious, clean and close proximity to shops, restaurants and beach. Garage for parking the car is very useful. The only negative was the bedding. Pillows were poor and the sheets were poor quality, which was a shame as the apartment is great and in a great location.

Stayed Jun 30, 2024We had a wonderful 11 night stay in Sol Rio. Communication with the property owner was always prompt and efficient. Check in was simple and straightforward with the property manager. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. We couldn't fault the cleanliness. The apartment is so well-equipped with everything needed for a self catering stay. A travel cot and high chair was also provided for our baby. Location is perfect- 2 min walk to Alvor village centre- 2 min walk to the supermarket. Grounds of the complex are well kept but our only disappointment was the cleaniness and maintenance of the pool area. Both pools (big pool and baby pool) were dirty as if the pool filters were not working properly - dead insects floating, leaves etc. The bottom and surrounds of the pool are in need of maintenence and painting. Lots of the sunbeds were dirty. There were 3 designated beds for this apartment which was plenty. Overall we had a wonderful stay and look forward to returning soon.
