    The property is located in a quiet side street and is about a three minute walk to the marina and shops, cafes and restaurants. The co-op and Carrefour supermarkets are about a 12 minute walk away in the main town centre. The 3rd floor apartment is light and bright, has a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher and a washing machine and plenty of hangers and storage for clothes. There is a lift as well. The apartment is very clean and well presented and the foyer and stairwells are mopped and cleaned regularly. There is a 3 ft wide balcony that runs the whole length of the apartment and is ideal for breakfast and meals. Good view as well! We found it to be a perfect holiday location and would highly recommend it.

    The property was on the third floor with a good view of the green hills from the terrace that ran the entire length of the apartment. Very spacious living room and bedroom and a well equipped kitchen. The situation is only three minutes walk from the sea front and plenty of restaurants and cafes. The location is also residential, so it is quiet and peaceful. There is also a lift which is very convenient. The shower is in the bath with a curtain round it but it is a rather tight space to shower in and the shower is not particularly powerful although perfectly adequate. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay for seven nights.

    The apartment was very clean, quite old-fashioned but totally adequate. Not sure where the 'recently renovated' statement came in. It appeared to have had new flooring, but the contractor could not measure as there were gaps in quite a few places

    The apartment was clean, secure, and had nice light coming in throughout the day. The communication with property manager was excellent. The harbor is just a couple of blocks away, with plenty of restaurants, a supermarket, and local shops with produce. I used Santa Margherita as my central hub, with easy access to Portofino and Cinque Terra, just a train, ferry, or water taxi (expensive) ride away. The only thing I would criticize about the apartment is that the bath towels were scratchy and the faucet leaked a little. Besides these small things, the property was excellent. I recommend this property to everyone looking to stay in Santa Margherita!
