Stayed Mar 22, 2026The pool was ok. Very shallow and small. The host never replies! He had me pay for parking, 30 a night, but he didn't give me the remote for the first night and it's been a week and still hasn't given me my money back. He has some sort of assistant that will reply sporadically. The building itself does stink. The room was clean but no lighting. I told him the lamp, only light source for the living room, was broken and never got fixed/replaced. 2 light bulbs were out in the little sink area and those also never got replaced. We were there for 4 days. The location is convenient though but just be careful. Lots of homeless people. No one is friendly at the complex. Which is fine and probably on brand for LA. Just giving as much detail as possible. There was only 1 hand towel for the bathroom and with 5 of us, we would have appreciated more. The carpet in the bedroom is unfortunately very dirty. There's a single tiny nightstand. No convenient outlets so bring extension cords. The beds are really low so very inconvenient since thats the only place to set your suitcase or on the dirty floor. I have stayed in so many nice vrbo's with kind and responsive hosts so this just really threw me off.
