My daughter lives in an apartment across the street from this apartment, which is why we selected this property. Hyde Park in Chicago is pretty safe and very walkable. Parking is difficult! This property was clean, but needs some updated flooring. It was very difficult to control hot water. It was extremely hot!! If you have children in this property I would recommend keeping them from turning on the hot water by themselves. The building, likely built in 1920s had been updated but is showing wear. Communication with the VRBO manager/owner was not as proactive as other properties we've rented, but they were receptive when I finally called.

I really enjoyed my stay at this property! Everything was exactly as described and the property was exceptionally clean and centrally located. The check-in process was smooth and the hosts were very communicative from booking to check-out.
