Our apartment is located in the heart of East Perth, making it incredibly easy (and often free!) to get around the city. You are perfectly positioned to explore the CBD, the waterfront, and the vibrant local dining scene without ever needing a car.

The Free CAT Buses (Central Area Transit)
East Perth is famous for its free, high-frequency CAT bus system. You are just a short stroll from two major routes:

Yellow CAT: The stop is just around the corner on Wellington Street. This free bus takes you directly to Perth Station, the Perth City Library, and through the heart of the shopping district.

Red CAT: Access this on nearby Hay Street or Hale Street. It runs East-West and is the perfect way to get to Matagarup Bridge (for Optus Stadium) or toward the leafy streets of West Perth.

Free Transit Zone (FTZ)
Because you are within the Perth Free Transit Zone, any Transperth bus within the city boundaries is free to use! Just hop on and off at any stop within the zone.

By Train:
McIver & Claisebrook Stations: Both stations are within a 5-10 minute walk. These are major junctions where you can catch almost any train line in Perth—whether you’re heading to the beaches of Fremantle, the shops of Joondalup, or the wineries of the Swan Valley.

On Foot & Lifestyle:
The Royal Street Strip: A 5-minute walk takes you to the Claisebrook Cove area, a beautiful Mediterranean-style waterfront filled with cafes, bars, and restaurants.

Optus Stadium: You can walk across the scenic Matagarup Bridge to reach the stadium in about 20 minutes, making this a perfect base for event-goers.

Cycling:

    Unit was very clean, had everything you needed in the kitchen which was great for cooking. Was a spacious unit for a family of 4 with good sized balcony with bbq. Nice outlook to the WACA, loved seeing the lights on of a night. Location was good, grocery store and BWS only steps away. Park for kids very close by to. Only issue we had was with vacuum cleaner didn’t seem to pick up off the carpet.. other than that we would stay again.

    Fantastic apartment in east Perth Rachel the host is exceptional to work with, propt and professional with any queries you may have and prepared to put in the extra work to ensure your stay is tailored to fit your requirements. The apartment is spacious and spotlessly clean with modern furnishings and a great kitchen that comes fully equipped and the beds are very comfortable. Outside there is a large balcony with outdoor furniture and a large barbeque for your exclusive use it's really enjoyable area to spend time in the morning and late afternoon. There is a good selection of restaurants within a couple minutes walk from the apartment with the main shopping mall of Perth CBD just a casual 10 minute stroll away. This is a really nice apartment in a very convenient part of the city I highly recommend Rachel's apartment.
