Mountain Condo: Ski Access & Valley Views

The Space:

A Ski-In/Ski-Out Mountain Condo at Bogus Basin — Adventure Meets Comfort

Imagine stepping straight from your front door onto the slopes, spending the day carving through some of Idaho's most scenic mountain terrain, then retreating to a cozy, well-appointed condo with sweeping views of Horseshoe Bend Valley waiting to greet you from your private deck. That's exactly what this charming first-floor studio at Bogus Basin delivers — and it does so in style.

Strap on your skis and ride the nearby lift up to Pioneer Lodge for access to Bogus Basin's full trail network, then come home to sink into the generous eight-seat couch by the free-standing fireplace and let the mountains work their magic on your tired legs. The Roku-equipped TV and free WiFi are there when you want them, and a cozy office nook with a 4K monitor, mouse, and keyboard means remote workers just need to bring their laptop to stay connected. Two Hide-A-Beds in the couch and a set of bunk beds sleep the whole crew comfortably, and a clever table that splits in two is perfect for post-slope puzzles or game nights.

The well-equipped open kitchen — featuring a convection microwave that can air fry and even bake — makes whipping up meals a genuine pleasure, and the private deck does double duty as a spectacular alfresco dining spot with mountain air and valley views on tap around the clock. And when the mountain has been thoroughly conquered, downtown Boise is just 20 miles south, with excellent restaurants, entertainment, and boutique shopping ready for an evening out.

Kitchen details in listing need to be more complete. Dinnerware, silverware, assorted pots, pans, utensils and baking trays. Microwave, coffee maker, toaster.Pots, pans and trays need to be cleaned more regularly by cleaning staff. Underuse leaves them grimy.Wifi available: app access with personal codes

We had a wonderful time. The property is as advertised; newly remodeled and thoughtfully designed for the small space. Woodstove, hot tub and sauna were wonderful during the cold winter nights. We’ll be back!

The property is at a ski resort, that ticketed cars during off season in an empty lot. The property was run down. The only adult bed was a terrible spring mattress. It was an incredible inconvenience to add 2 hours to my day driving to and from Boise to get back to the unit. I will never stay again.

The good; Location - right next to the slopes Full kitchen - although very tiny Beautiful view Big TV The not so good: The internet speed is a joke. They have a dedicated guest network where speeds are throttled to levels that make internet browsing painfully slow and streaming or video conferencing impossible. Bring a mobile hotspot if you want to stay connected while here. Beds are very uncomfortable. The mattresses are ancient. The tiny kitchen sink is a joke.

This condo has awesome views. We were there to hike and bike and had a great time. Just a note, bring your own food...there is really only one place to purchase food at the top of the mountain.
