Stayed Dec 30, 2025Spacious accommodations, well stocked kitchen, warm blankets, and nice bathrooms. The shuttle picks you up and drops you off right in front of the unit. Great home base for a family ski trip.

Stayed Feb 10, 2024The house is dilapidated. EVERYTHING needs updating. The carpeting on the steps is disgusting. Mismatched broken glasses, silverware from 1950, appliances that were difficult to use. Dark and dingy and sooooo old. Nothing to aid in comfort. No throw blankets. Sheets that don’t fit beds…..

Stayed Feb 6, 2024This place worked just great for us and our 2 dogs while skiing at Palisades. While it was just us, it is ser up to accomodate several couples or 2 families easily.

Stayed Oct 2, 2023The rooms were arranged two upstairs and 2 downstairs so it was good if you have a large group or kids. The condo was in a nice area with a close walk to the park and trails.

Stayed Dec 31, 2022Place was smaller than pictures appeared. Had issues with heat, brakers and power. Management company was not responsive. Instructions on check in and check out where different via text, Vrbo messages and onsite. Parking was horrible. Requested an early check in the day before due to bad storm in area. Never received response from owner. Due to check in being at 4pm, we were turned away 40 minutes out from property due to road closures from storm. Turned around came home and tried again the next morning when roads were back open.

Stayed Mar 2, 2022AvantStay was so attentive and helpful. They got us humidifiers and removed snow so we could access the BBQ the same day we asked. The condo is very well equipped. Plenty of space. Downstairs is a perfect kid level with homework area, hang out area and lots of beds. Top floor is perfect for two sets of parents with en suite bathrooms. Middle level is great for meals and post ski hanging. Our kids loved playing on the property with their sleds and playing in the snow. We missed having a hot tub but saw that was opened the last day so we'll use next time.

Stayed Jan 21, 2022We really enjoyed our stay here! The layout is great- it allows everyone to have their own private areas while enjoying a great common area. Well appointed with everyone you could need in the kitchen, plus games and even a guitar. We would definitely stay here again!

Stayed Feb 2, 2022The online pictures of the property is not as large as in person. This place is a cute small condo with multiple random light switches in different spots. Overall still worked with our group. If you plan to bake, bring own baking pans. We couldn’t accessed the grill on the patio either because there was a block of ice/snow that couldn’t be easily pushed/shoveled/scraped off. There is multiple visitor parking spot, garage space, and one driveway space. If it’s a busy day, visitors spot may easily be full. This location is super convenient for ski/boarding. Close to Pallisades Resort, and if you don’t want to drive, download the Mountaineer app, and a shuttle van can pick you up and drop you back off at your location. 7/11 right around the corner, and a rental shop next to it. Tahoe City isn’t to far either for a bite to eat and grocery shopping at Safeway.

Stayed Jan 14, 2022Some positives. Great location on squaw access road, easy jaunt to Alpine or Tahoe City. Nice layout. Great for two families because in essence two masters upstairs. Lighting is terrible throughout. When we arrived at night there were several rooms with lamps unplugged. When my kids crawled around to plug in lights their clothes were covered in gross dust and dirt ewwww. Also, once in PJs walked around in bare feet the first night and when I went to get in bed it my feet were black. Ewwww. Beds were super comfy though. Plenty of nice clean towels. Well stocked kitchen in terms of tools and pots and dishes and platters and all. Guitar was fun for my son who plays. Record player was a super cool vintage touch but go the extra mile and have more than 2 records! Cool shot ski-wish we had a party crew to use it. The AV system was a hodge podge joke. Never got any TVs to work. No firewood. Overall wouldn’t go back for the price….just too tired and dirty.
