Stayed Apr 12, 2026The location is great ! It’s an easy walk to downtown Portsmouth. The house is right on the North Mill Pond. You can see the water rushing in and out from under bridge with the tides. There was no one renting the apartment above me. My stay was quiet. There was no need for me to cook since there are so many good restaurants in town.

Stayed Jul 19, 2025The Tide House is such a beautiful and convenient place to stay if you’re planning a trip to Portsmouth! Only a short walk away from all the shops and restaurants the town has to offer. Watching the tide go in and out from the window was so fun! The entire space is very clean and well decorated, a pleasant place to stay all around!

Stayed Nov 29, 2024Lovely studio and well appointed. The bridge is not open to vehicle traffic so this made the location more quiet than perhaps when open. Our GPS or Waze app did not pick up on bridge closure so we drove around a bit upon arrival to Portsmouth.
