Serene Sands Retreat- 10 minutes from Downtown 15 minutes from Mayo Clinic

Communication from the host was great. Pool had quite a bit of duck poop in it and the smell in the area generally is of sewer. The furniture isn't really comfy and supplies are minimal. We also followed the trash pickup instructions and it wasn't picked up one of the days and everyone else's was, so I am not sure why that happened. If you are looking for a quiet getaway, this might not be the place as it is an apartment complex with thin walls and floors. You can hear the tenant above. It is about 20-30 minutes from the beach, 45 to Amelia Island, 60 to St. Augustine (cute town), and two hours to Daytona. Downtown Jacksonville is not the place, lots of homeless and drugs.

The property was clean, the listing was actuate other than the queen sofa sleeper, it’s not a sofa sleeper it’s a futon that the back folds down on, there was a queen air mattress in the bed closet that saved the day. The futon is also pretty janky and could use a replacement. The pool area was nice and the overall stay was good.

Location was excellent. House was very clean and it had nice shower products.

The apartment is so beautiful! It was very clean and has everything you need. It is very close to St. Johns Town Center for fun shopping and right across from a Walmart which is very nice. Lots of room in the apartment and quiet at night. I would definitely stay here again! Highly recommend. The host is very nice and responsive and helps with any questions you have. I loved the stay!

A perfect stay all around! Clean with all the amenities you'll need to feel right at home for your stay. Communicated with host ahead of time as we were traveling with a small U-Haul trailer and they let us know that we could park it right across the street at the Walmart (confirmed with the manager there just in case!). I was a tad nervous about this but the Walmart had security driving around and it was less than a minute walk with the side gate exit by the condo. The walking trails around the neighborhood as well as the pool were a great way to stretch our legs after/before our 14 hour trek. Thank you so much for a being an awesome host to our first trip to Florida!

The apartment waa clean and in a gated community. Felt very safe. Host was very attentive. Would definitely book again.
