Seaside Bliss in Lauderdale by the Sea | Location!

I stayed here with my husband and two young adult children. Here are the pros: Quick responses from owner, cleaning crew sent out the next morning after we arrived, great water pressure, very comfortable bed in the bedroom, proximity to the beach, very close to the grocery store, short walk to restaurants and shops, laundry on the premises, there was a kitchen.Here are the cons: There were live and dead roaches in the apartment when we arrived. The sheets on the bed in the bedroom were filthy and we had to find a laundry mat that was open late in the next town and spent 20 washing all the linens and towels because we were grossed out. The floors of the apartment were dirty. The balcony that was advertised was a walkway space with one chair and one tiny table that every other apartment on the 2nd floor had access to. The cozy sofa bed accommodates 2 people was neither comfortable nor did it slept 2 people. There were not enough beach and shower towels for 4 of us so we had to go out and buy 4 towels. The statement a fully equipped kitchen awaits your culinary adventures, complete with modern appliances and all the essentials for preparing delicious meals is a misrepresentation. There was not a mixing bowl, a spatula, a whisk or even a skillet to make scrambled eggs. I was disappointed in the lack of beach chairs for us to use; there were only 2 soccer chairs.I would not stay in this place when I come back to Lauderdale by the Sea.

This property did not quite meet our needs. We have 2 teen boys, and the couch did not cut it for us. It would certainly work for smaller kids. Just did not work for us. Otherwise, this location is great! Walk everywhere, which was important for us. It is a short walk to tourist shopping, lots of restaurants, bars, and the beach. Publix, CVS, Dollar Tree, First Watch, and a few others are 100 yards away. Pleanty of parking. The laundry facility was out of order, which was inconvenient.
