Stayed Sep 20, 2025It was clean, air conditioned, and the kitchen was nicely set up. The bed frame’s support was broken so the mattress was sagging. The location is within walking distance of lots of nice places but it was a little noisy at times.

Stayed May 30, 2025If you're looking to stay close to the main drag in La Jolla, this is the place. Just steps away from dining and shopping. There is no view, but it's located in a quiet complex that is clean and comfortable. Very convenient to step out in the morning and sit down for coffee and breakfast. Great communication from the owner, and seamless access upon arrival.

Stayed Sep 16, 2024Be very aware of how the property pictures are taken. You don't see any exterior photos. To get the airy pictures that are used you would need to open all the blinds to the alley. The apartment is in a run down building in a strip alley in the middle of La Jolla. The property is quiet. The apartment was clean but not reflective of these pictures. It has seen better days.

Stayed Sep 19, 2024We had a very nice stay at this property. It was perfect for staying a week while we moved our daughter into UCSD. We were able to walk to coffee shops, great restaurants, and taco joints. Beach is a couple of blocks away. It's a very clean and cosy apartment. All was as advertised, but it's worth emphasizing there is no onsite parking, and parking on the streets is a bit of an adventure. Also, not having access to a washer/dryer in the apt. is a bit of an issue for a longer stay, but we used a laundry located several blocks away. Great communication with the host, and we enjoyed our stay.

Stayed Sep 11, 2024The apartment was in a perfect location. You could easily walk around La Jolla for shopping and restaurants, take an Uber to the beaches (to swim), and walk down to the shoreline to see the sea lions. The space was perfect for two people. The couch in the living room could use some more pillows for cushioning but other than that, the space was great.

Stayed May 4, 2024This was the perfect place to explore La Jolla. I wish my house was as clean and well decorated as this apt! Everything was perfect. The kitchen and bath had all the essentials. The bed was super comfy and there were plenty of hangers. We needed an extra washcloth which was promptly delivered. The expected neighborhood “noise” wasn’t bad. Parking was usually available on Cave or Silverado St. and we could unload luggage behind the building on Roslyn. Communication with management was exceptional and I will definitely stay here again.

Stayed Feb 3, 2024Positives-i was there for 6 weeks and working in the apartment remotely M-F. The best feature by far is location, location, location! This apt is in walking distance of everything in La Jolla Cove. It is beyond convenient and within a 20 minute drive of most of San Diego. The staff was Responsive. It was clean with newer appliances and renovated/modern kitchen and bath. They took care of repairs and maintenance issues quickly and efficiently. It is Comfortable and Felt safe. Negatives. 1. I was there flr 6 weeks and worked remotely. I needed dedicated work space. The listing said desk and desk chair which was critical. There was none so i had to buy a desk and a chair and move around furniture to create space to work. Also, electrical outlets in kitchen alcove are not 3 pronged, so i had to ren extension cords from outlets at countertops. 2. Parking- there is none and street parking can be challenging. 2 hour limits in most areas. 3. Laundry- while there is a coin/app washer & dryer, i was told they are not available to guests. This the nearest laundromat is more than 5 miles away. So i had to uber/lyft to do laundry. 4. I would not take a ground floor unit again because you can hear EVERYTHING and every footstep from Upstairs. Some of the tenants were very noisy, especially late at night. 5. While well stocked with shampoo, soap, dishwashing soap, no other cleaning supplies. Nothing to use to wipe a countertop, clean the stove, clean a toilet, etc.

Stayed Oct 1, 2023The property was spotless, very comfortable, and in a very convenient location. Only a few steps away from La Jolla Cove with many restaurants and coffee shops to choose from for a fancy meal or quick bite. We would stay here again.

Stayed Jul 18, 2023Loved this location! Could easily explore La Jolla’s beaches and restaurants from here. Space was perfect for my husband and I and teenage son. Definitely park on Silverado, Exchange, or Park Row. A big thank you to who left that tip before. Didn’t cook (who wants to on vaca) but could have. We stocked the kitchen with breakfast, fruits, snacks, and leftovers from easily walkable restaurants, grocery store (Pavilions), and a great Sunday morning farmers market. FYI…Walls are a little thin between units and outside noise can be a little loud if the windows are open. Would stay there again though.
